None of these current superstars in world football could go through this a whole season. They would go on social media and whine and complain. Different breed.
thats just the classic football mentality. real men had it. these newgen little girls could never survive this. always respect for the older footballers
ronaldo's first game back away from home, they thought the boos would affect him but he had an amazing game also nearly came away with an incredible goal and assist
@@sambox4331 i was analysing his stats at his time with united which is why his career goal ratio isn't as high as it should be ronaldo didn't focus on scoring from 2003 - 2005 so his output was bad with only 27 goals in 137 games... compared to 91 goals in 155 matches from 2006-2009, man only if he focused more on scoring from 2003-2005 he would have had more goals at united, better career goal ratio and closer to 1.000 goals ffs. but considering he didn't really become a goal scorer until he turned 24 it's incredible how he is the highest ever goal scorer
As an Arsenal fan i hated Ronaldo so much, saying things like he was not a team player etc. Then i realised after he left that i was just highlighting his weak points cause he was better than any player i loved and was feeling the need to defend them.
@@AQ-101Ronaldo is the most perfect footballer. He can score with his right foot, left foot, header, free kicks, penalties, has speed, dribble, skills, strength, physique. You will not see all those abilities combined in another player
@@juanr94 that time Ronaldo was too young and also played lower in the field as a left mid fielder for the first 200 matches. That period Henry was obviously better but none can match Ronaldo's Real Madrid stats such a beast of a performance 🔥
He getting booed because he caused Wayne Rooney getting red card in World Cup 2006 and eliminated England from tournament, also the camera caught Ronaldo wink to the bench.
@@FSousA7XI never really got how they could blame Ronaldo when Rooney clearly stepped on Carvalho😭. I think the Ronaldo hate is just internal and that was just a reason to do so
They have been booing him in every single away game not just for United but for Madrid and in international. Young Ronaldo and Prime Ronaldo were just unstoppable 🔥🤫
Nah this was different this was just after the match with Portugal vs England where Wayne Rooney got a red card bc of Ronaldo and England got knocked out so when he came back to play for man u he was the most hated man in the country
@@kaex_ .He was never good in any WC. The only thing he did to hat special was a hatrick against Spain 18 in group stage. International career...CR is nothing. Just some goals against weak teams

@@MullerFan28I mean, what you say is true, but it was a bit more than that, fair enough they were on opposing teams internationally but they were supposed to be good friends at United and Ronaldo was calling for Wazza to get sent off, he could’ve just kept quiet and let the ref decide.
@@Slykkey cause frauds focus on rigged trophies and winners focus on mentality, feel pitiful for all the pessi dogs, they need to be sent to the vets asap!
@Slykkey bro with all due respect. Messi would never of survived the prem league especially not under the conditions cr7 went through. Messi is the most gifted footballer in history no doubt but to be considered the greatest of all time you need more facets than that. Imo cr7 has more facets than messi
@@Raulgonzobonzo I respect CR7 and the way he always strives to be better. But that's what got him to where he is. As a player Messi is way ahead. Ronaldo is a better role model but Messi is the greatest footballer. We might have different opinions though ahaha. Thing is you don't know if Messi would have been able to withstand the same pressure or not. What makes CR7 great is that he was able to do it regardless. It's just a huge what if
This are the some of the main reason, Cristiano is the Greatest footballer of all time. The boos and the whistles didn’t bother him, playin in a country where you are hated but man won the PFA player of the year and the PFA young player of the year too!!! He is just insane. The GOAT. Better than any other!!!!!
I am a messi fan but ronaldo in his man united days was a complete beast. Watching him play was joyfull. I would watch messi and ronaldo whenever they played. Getting old sucks mannn
@@skwad240 Woa look at the edgelord over here admitting he commented without any clue what it was about. That sure af doesn't make you look like a complete m0r0n does it? 🤪 Sit back down boy. The adults are talking. Here's a clue - it has nothing to do with his skill or performances. But you knew that, right skidmark? Cmon, project a bit harder, there's a good lad.
For context for you young kids who didnt watch football at this time, this was directly after 2006 world cup, Portugal vs England Quarter Finals Wayne Rooney fouls Ricardo Carvalho Portuguese Center Back and at the time partnered with John Terry at Chelsea. Ronaldo goes to the ref and tells him to give rooney a red card (it was a clear and obvious red card but the protest by Ronaldo against his manchester united teammate sparked a lot of emotions by rooney and other England players) a little argueing breaks out and in the end Rooney gets semt off which Ronaldo responds by winking to the Portuguese bench and his manager Luiz Felipe Scolari Portugal end up winning the game in penalties and advance to semi finals vs France, where a dive by Theiry Henry outside the box is awarded as a penalty and Portugals best ever team loses 1-0 to an unfair penalty call. If Portugal made the finals they surely would have broken down that italy team and beat them without a doubt.
Materazzi Cannavaro Gattuso Perrotta camoranesi.. as a truly, truly Cris fan, he would have not touched one ball, and if he dared to his ankle whould have left the chat
@@ilprescelto6672true as a portuguese , I can confirm that. United play against Milan during 2004 -2007. And ronaldo struggled a lot, 11 players defending as a block
@@ilprescelto6672 lol i never said ronaldo would win them the game? portugal defended just as well as a unit and had the better attackers. Maniche could get them a goal, deco, rui costa, simao, FIGO, Ronaldo wouldnt even be at the top of the list at the time for portugals most likely goal scorer. What Ronaldo would do though is surely terrorize the defense and get other teammates open and draw fouls where a potential freekick goal could be scored.
This man has the strongest mind of any sports man. Can you imagine sacking a whole country with a wink and go back to that country and face the people. CR7 is a pure warrior. We as Madeira Islanders are so proud of our Knight Templar and our hero. Respect my sweet prince.
your goat in burger league 😂😂, camel league has cr7, benzi, kante, otavio, telles and more and camel league has pessi, biting suarez, and some skinny guy named busquets.@@sothysoy3641
This guy thrived off the boo’s 😭. He alongside Rooney made me a united fan, I wish we had someone in this team that had this mentality. Only person I can think of is Garnacho but ofc talent wise nobody is touching Ronaldo
@samchanpion715 it’s absolutely crazy how every time he was doubted, he got stronger. He already had a ton of fame in this clip but compare that to now, his fame is unparalleled and just amazing. This dude is that mf (in a good way lol). He thrives and elevates under pressure when most would’ve given up.
How a man can handle his sadness inside i'm always thinking about the Maguire, Cristiano,Vini Jr like these players who always get hate from the crowd but they never give up
@@ifeanyiorji8675 He isn't playing as a typical winger here but in Fergie's old 442 system both Giggs and Beckham were wingers you could argue Beckham wasn't a true winger as he didn't dribble to the byline as often as Giggs because he could whip a cross into the box from any wide position on the pitch. But they definitely played as wingers in a 442 formation.

In the same season he won all 5 awards for player of the season and PFA Team of the year with 17 goals and 16 assists in the Prem. And then there is Messi who failed monumentally at PSG and got booed by his OWN fans in TWO consecutive seasons. DON’T EVER COMPARE THE TWO

Ronaldo has always had to believe in himself to deflect all the negativity and criticism he endured. His Al Nassar teammates celebrate and respect him, and he deserves that. No spite, jealousy or hate. Just collective love and passion for the game, and it outshines all those years of hatred.
