Messi is the most complete player. Messi's passing success, crossing success, dribbling success, chance creation, ball retention, assists, shots to goal ratio, are all higher than CR7 by a considerable margin. I love CR7 and he is comfortably number two all-time, but Messi is number one.
@@kh7688 the problem with messi fans they never watch ronaldo highlight. Ronaldo at man united was a traditional winger , which mean crossing and passing was not a problem. Give a player with all this qualities Scores with left and right foot Long and short distance he can score He can pass and cross He can header He can take free kicks He can take penalty He is a leader. He is among the fastest player in history of football He has skill and can dribble. Most clutch player in history
@@ReactionGOAT_6333 You're talking to the biggest CR7 fan here, boy. I'm 43 years old. I'm not a child. I watch every player with a keen eye. I'm also a die-hard United fan. So, there is nothing anyone can tell me about CR7 that I don't already know. To this day, there has never been a more complete PLAYER than Messi. CR7, you can argue is a complete forward. His attacking attributes are absolutely phenomenal. However, he doesn't have the passing, crossing, assists, through-balls, dribbling and vision of Messi. He can do those things and does them well, but Messi does them to a much higher degree. Messi's passing is up there with the best passers of all time. He is one of the best crossers of the ball the world has seen and his dribbling is only matched by one other player, the Icon that is Maradona. The numbers don't lie and neither do the eyes.
@@kh7688 there is nothing special about the version of Messi because there is many players that are doing that better than him . If you can see Ronaldo 's passing you can see the intelligence and version is there .
CR7 is a underated passer people dont know he was a midfielder at a point of his career so him being a good passer of the ball was a must, BUT people do over rate his passing ability
the rabona pass isn't used just to be fancy, for example when you are right-footed but you play on the left wing like Ronaldo, when you dribble a defender then try to cross the ball to your teammates you are forced to use your left foot when crossing but if you're not that good with your weak foot you can master the rabona pass so that you can use your strong foot instead.
and Messi was in CR7 era and thats why CR7 had to accept that he is 2nd best 🤣🤣🤣. Anyway, Neymar is more naturally talented than CR7. It's just that Neymar lacks Messi and CR7's work ethics.
If everyone is better than Ronaldo then why you came here to watch him cuz deep down you know that Ronaldo is the best ever that no one can reach his level. You are not a Messi fan you are a hater of Ronaldo and that's the fact.@@hsafootballworld1321
This video alone should've made cristiano Ronaldo have 200 extra assists. Your next video must be cristiano Ronaldo shots that didn't go in. That catalog is better than any goals highlights you will ever see 🔥🔥
I’d say old school was a lot tougher and more physical which is why that generation spawned magicians at a higher rate because you had to be very technically proficient to succeed and even then the scores were low. The best players got kicked a lot more because they had to take more risks to get goals but modern day football is a lot more system based and has in turn spawned more players of the specialist model. Systems nowadays have specific roles players are assigned in them and hence a lot more players who are efficient at what they do are required. Scoring is easier these days because of that efficiency factor
I'm 100% in Messi camp, but CR7 is the ultimate showman, almost like he creates difficult plays cause he's bored with the regular game. Great passing range, although many of them are also showboating passes. His backheels are almost as good as Totti. Through balls not quite De Bruyne.
You guys did a great video. You know when some people say Messi is better than CR7, I laugh because he is not .Yes Messi is a great player, he plays the game well, but CR7 is the game . There is more to his skills that meets the eyes . To imagine that he has achieved all he has in football with playing for a weak Portugal nation team which can never be compared to Agentian strong nation team , yet have been able to established them in the football world . Like the weight of that nation club literally rested on him from the age of 17. To add to it , his experiences with international clubs where he played and is playing in are no different . From 17 years old he had to bear the weight of carrying Man United back to stadium something he didn't fail to deliver. The story of real Madrid was no different. The club was struggling to find its feet back on the number one place having last won trophies in 2002 until CR7 arrived then things changed , the pressure was on him to lead the team back to glory which he did not fail to . However, Messi is playing for one of the world strongest nation team and also started up with a strong international club, Barcelona where the likes of R9 where his teammate for the greatest part of is career. This club had one of the most coherent and formidable team. So while Messi had had the magnificent shadow of his nation team and club to strive on bagging achievements , CR7 had nor of it but had to create one form nation team to clubs to strive on . CR7 had always had a strong tide to push through. Comparing them from this angle bring into play the strength of the true force of their impact and achievements. CR7 is the greatest player in history for sure . He do not have the opportunity of nation team like that of Brazil, Agentian, France, Spain, etc . Never meet Man United at its best nor Real Madrid, but left a legacy for them to remember. Now that is what I call the goat .
Ronaldo and neymar have good passing but my man Ronaldinho was just ridiculous, and people use to forget how crazy his passing was. Yall should react to Dinho passing skills
It was 100% harder to play in maradonnas era. There was no var so the defenders would do anything to stop someone good. If the ref didn't see it, It didn't happen😂😂 That's the reason why they retired so early in those days, so many injuries. But nowdays even the defenders have skill, so we can say it's just different
He isn't in my top 3 but it's insane to me when people act like all Cristiano could do is score, he wasn't the most consistent passer which he didn't need to be given his scoring ability but as this video shows, the guy could be an elite playmaker when the moment came up
what are you talking about 😂Messi who is one of the best playmakers and has most assists in football history lool. The most creative footballer is Messi his IQ makes it too easy for him to create
The reason i don't like watching Ronaldo's passing videos is because of how mucj it annoys me how so many of those chances were wasted by his teamates. Bro deserve 300+ assists with those chances.
Through balls are probably the most significant passes in football, they cut through the defence and leave the receiver free to score. They are often called defence-splitting passes. They are the reason we consider players like Kevin De Bruyne, Toni Kroos, Messi, Iniesta, etc great passers because of how crucial and game-changing/defining they can be. Notice how one good through ball take so many of the opposition players out of the game. They are magical!
Cant believe they didnt show one of the best backheel assist to rooney ever done by ronaldo lol, that one was just too clean and just surprises you every time u see it.
Yoooooo…..love How are far you guys have come with the football reactions and all the players you now know…all love from the UK….hope you guys can one day watch a match here in the uk….and to your question about football back in the day….it was waaaaaayyy more tougher back in the day now with all the technology rising it’s more lenient with a lot more rules….BUT it’s a lot more faster today and more athletes around now and talent is growing
Like u said there are many types of passes in football. Few world class super stars manage to do half of these passes (guess what, messi ain't one of them, u can check). It takes a GOAT to perform all.
Football before VAR was basically anything goes, if you didn't get caught. That's why you hear those crazy stories like about Sergio Ramos and Pepe being savages.
❤❤❤much love to the D brothers for responding my request. It's been an honor watching you guys..fun facts cristiano Ronaldo mom loves president Ronald Reagan so much she name cr after him (ronald to Ronaldo).
Even in a video that's not highlighting it, Ronaldo teammates blowing straight up sitters he's setting them up with. 7/10 times Ronaldo teammates are missing when he put them through😂 Robbed of so many assists
I would say a football ⚽️ is “a little bit” heavier than a volleyball. That’s a more proper way of using that phrase. A basketball is a decent amount heavier ..100%
Interms of the quality of players the old school had the best quality including the best defenders in football history so it was really hard for strikers. But interms of the rules footballs in this new era is hard becos there's a lot a new rules and technology like VIDEO ASSISTANT REFREE (VAR) which makes it hard to steal a goal bcos refrees now have tech assistance to rule out some goals which ll have counted as a goal in the olden days
The passing is accurate but the people who receive the ball they not scoring I mean if they were scoring he would be the best assister of all time suuuuuuui
I think it's always been hard to score in football. The rules don't change much. That's why clinical strikers like Lewandowski are so valuable and rare, or high volume scorers like CR7 or Messi are truly a unique bread.
Football has become way more technical now because of technology and science they use to create better players If you watch football at its highest level You have to be perfect with your passes or your team is in trouble
Football was tougher in some ways - it way more physical/violent but from 1900 - now the average amount of goals per game (in the english top flight) went from 3.6 goals per game to about 2.6 goals per game. Teams are far more tactically astute, athletic, healthy, knowledgeable, prepared & professional which has raised the quality massively. There's a lot of context behind it, the most major were changes to the offside rule & back pass to the goalkeeper rule
Must admit that even tho I've been living my whole life in a football psycho fans country (Poland) since childhood been forced together with my girlfriends to play as goalkeepers as boys didn't have a complete team for the next most important match in their life if you wouldn't bring up ball weight issue, I would probably never in my life even for a second consider this as an issue of any kind. Thanks 🥂 All what's best for You 💜💜🥂🙂🔮
2:49 this move doesn’t require any upper body strength. You are using your shoulder which is already one of the strongest parts of your body. So yeah even a teenager can do this move. It’s all about where in the shoulder you wanna hit it in order to go a certain distance
nope no one is doing it consistently with that precision... i challenge you to bring me any player in history doing it consistently... it's very difficult
Back in the day it was more physical but not necessarily tougher as nowadays most players are technical including the goalkeepers. Back in the day teams were way more open and relied more on star players. Nowadays teams play more like a system which makes it harder to breakdown. So I won’t say the old days were tougher, it was just different.
The "trivela passes" in other words are called outer foot shots. Imo they are most satisfying and hardest type of shot to master. Y'all have to react to trivela passes and goals.
Im more of NBA fan than a football fan. Yes you are right football is more of a team sport than basketball. How the team sets up the field to create space is more important. Id compare football with more of the early Phil Jackson and Gregg Poppoviç type game. Where we are not entirely focused on 2 players. Which I believe has made the NBA boring for me.
Its became even harder to score to score from 2010s thats were the brilliance of managers comes in to play....Playing under certain manager eg( Pep, Kloop ,Mourinho, Ancelotti) they simplify situations for players ...Football is really competitive this days ..the gulf of small team players and big team players is narrow..very narrow
trivela- outside the boot pass (quaresma) rabona - fancy pass (quaresma and any brazilian skiller) curve pass -inside your foot pass (kdb) through pass - threaded pass in between players (ozil , messi) no look pass , shoulder pass , back pass ( any 5 star skiller) set pieces - there many but some players are specialists (ward prowse, messi, )
People always forget they have coaches and they ask things from the players that sometimes it's not the best for the team or to win and change the way players play the game .
Before it was more difficult, the balls were different, the laws, the pitches, it was more physical. now we have technologies, different tactics, nutrition, etc.. everything is different
Back heel pass is not easy. It looks easy because he made it look easy. We've seen players stumbling while trying to do this. Try it, for fun... And if u do so, upload it.
U will never see messi distribute a long pass with his right foot…he always have to adjust to his left foot before he can do anything…Messi is boring to watch
these ppl in the comments know NOTHING about football . it was way easier to play football back in the day . no tactics no strategy just talent . it literally was easy to play in just 2011 let alone back in the day . i look back at barcelona's "best team ever" and it doesn't impress me in the least . after ppl figured how to play against them they were bad . 2015 barcelona was better and 2017 real madrid was even better
