Cristiano Ronaldo was UNREAL in 2015! 

Question...if Ronaldo had reached the final of the Champions League, faced off against Messi's Barcelona, scored and won it, would he have won the Ballon D'or over Messi? I think we can all agree Messi rightfully deserved the Ballon D'or after his 2014/15 season, incredible stats and won the treble. However, Ronaldo's stats were also unreal. Here is the comparison: Ronaldo 14/15: 54 appearances 61 goals scored 21 goals assisted Messi 14/15: 57 appearances 58 goals scored 27 goals assisted Both very similar stats but Ronaldo was actually statistically better this season (played three fewer games as well). We all know that the UCL trophy is by far the most determining factor in the Ballon D'or...so again I ask, if Ronaldo had won the UCL against Barcelona, while Messi had won the league and CDR, would Messi still have won the Ballon D'or? You can notice that his leg and body posture while running or dribbling is not the same, because of the knee injury before Champions League final in 2014. The worst thing is that its a chronic condition that has no cure, so he has been playing with pain all this time... however, he has managed to do incredible things these years. When he retires and all the people know about this carreer ending injury (tendinosis), hope he gets recognized for it.

The last season at Real Madrid for Cr7 where he played as a winger who also cut inside and scored goals. Under zidane he was a goal machine but not as entertaining or prolific. I know a lot of people will disagree and say he was better under zidane but for me I liked him more in this season and the ones previous because I like to see Cr7 dribble past players , shoot from distance, send crosses and go zooming down the left wing and in his last 3 seasons at Real Madrid we very rarely saw him do that. Then again goals are what win games

When he came to RM he was a GREAT already and the team understood that and built the team aournd him. The reason RM and CR7 were so successful together was that the team absorbed his greatness and utilized it in the best possible way. Watch every video to CR7 scoring or assisting for RM. Assensio, Benzema, Bale, Marcelo always shadowed him all around the pitch as they know if CR7 doesn't shoot then the ball is gonna come their way. On the other hand when the opponent had their concentration on CR7 Kroos, Moderic, Vaquez and others swept in beating the defence. And this is the same reason Messi is so good at Barca while Juventus couldn't get the most out of the GOAT. Realizing and respecting your opponent's or team mate's zeal shows class. No matter how much CR7 and LM10 fans hate or critize each other but we all know and see how CR7 sees and respects the GOAT in Messi and pushes himself to match him or be better. I personally think that in the 2015 is a whole new level of Ronaldo version. It's all about the effectiveness and understanding the game better. Back then he was kind a player who wants to take on player with his skills and speed and the risk of that he got injured. Bro came of off a knee injury, wasn't able to dribble how he used to till 2014, adjusted his playstyle from to bit striker type of winger than an agility type dribbler. Even though he wasn't able to dribble how he used to he just became better than it.
