Yesterday night I was talking with my mouth full and I stuttered and said instead of I'm good, I said ''Ima good''. My mother and I were cracking up for like 10 minutes straight about it. My mother is half Egyptian Safardi Jewish and half Mexican but my father is full blooded Sicilian. So I made myself learn to speak Italian last night.
I love this! I'm Italian and most of us really talk like that in English! She's an amazing singer and smart enough to sing in English as in Italy for any artist who wants to live as an artist, is really hard and you must go elsewhere! As a matter of fact sadly, believe it or not, after more than 20 years in music (she started singing during the early 90s) she's still better known outside Italy and is one of the least famous female singers in Italy...actually most people don't even know we have metal bands and awesome and talented metal singers like Cristina, too bad for them I guess!
