I was just shy of 14 when I saw Scanners theatrically in 1981 and it no pun intended, blew my mind. I have been obsessed with Cronenberg since 👍 Blow Out is my favorite DePalma film.👍

I can't believe you haven't seen Fast Times yet, you are in for a treat. Dazed and Confused is a top 10 movie for me I love that one. We have about the same amount of Criterions I always want to get more but then I pass for newer movies.
@@sidehustlecinema I know! I need to prioritize Fast Times. It’s cool that we both have around the same amount of Criterion titles. It’s definitely difficult trying to figure out which films to buy and which ones to wait on. You got some great Movies Anthony. I love Matt Dillion and Rumble Fish is a pretty cool Movie. Night of the Living Dead is awesome too but Dawn of the Dead is my favorite in the series. Blood Simple is a masterpiece of suspense! Just ordered it myself along with Bound 😊 Scanners is good but I prefer Videodrome and Naked Lunch for Cronenberg Have you seen Ghost World, Hausu, Cure or Lady Snowblood? I recommend those

Blood Simple. Put that one in immediately or at your earliest convenience!!!!!!! Sisters is good, not close to my favorite De Palma. Blow Out now that is one my favorites. 5 stars. After Hours is probably a bottom 5 Scorsese for me. His lighter fare just doesnt do it for me. Barnes and Noble music is very Hannibal Lecter. 😈😈😈
