Yea just to think from being a bunch of voice actor friends playing D&D at home to now being the biggest ambassadors for the game and having millions of fans from around the world. Must have been even more surreal watching the sea of fans singing the theme song live. Epic
Every time the community surprises these guys, you can see their humility. Never did they imagine people would respond so strongly to their weekly game. It's beautiful how they respond every time.
This is what Twitch missed out on. There you can barely hear the crowd singing along, which hardly gives this (critical) justice. Thank you for posting this, I love watching crowd reactions to certain events.
This is so awesome! I loved the guy who shouted "Mighty Nein!" at the beginning. This campaign and these characters have meant a lot to me, and I hope I am fortunate enough to meet the cast and thank them in person one day. Thank you for uploading this and giving us what the streams don't!
It was so fucking cold waiting in line for hours to get into the building. Show was great. Prolly their last ever live show. Covid hit like a month later. Crazy.
It WAS cold as F. But worth it. I got there just as the 2 lines met on the back corner. Shutdowns for Covid started within 3 weeks (in the U.S. at least) after this, but most of my friends and family started distancing the week after. Bidet from Michigan!
Because the promise of an intense life, s life of vibrancy and wonder, of deeds that matter, is juxtaposed with " lives of quiet desperation ". Heck, Hecate, your screen name is that of the greek goddess of Fate and Big Decisions. And you're hearing her. You know why you got those tears. And, I have those same tears in my eyes, too.
Wether I hear this song live or in my AirPods; whenever I hear the lyric "Put your fate in your hands, take a chance, roll the dice" I always have to make a gesture as if I'm rolling dice.
