Critical Role Panel with Matt & Taliesin @ Another Anime Con 2016, Manchester, NH [Spoilers E71] 

I don't think anyone would have cared if Matt and Jaffe, just kept talking.

Its so cool to watch this and cross reference it with other panels and realize that Taliesin backup character was Mollymauk!

Taliesin is a delightful human being. Hearing him talk about playing Vampire: The Masquerade on Temple grounds was hilarious (if a bit scandalizing), and the interaction between him and the Vex cosplayer was absolutely the best player-fan interaction I have ever seen.

That lady who asked to roll for persuasion was brilliant! 😂

Now I desperately want Talisen to play that type of Hannibal Lecter Chaotic Evil kind of character. IT WOULD BE SO GOOD

Questions:

What Taliesin said about writing backstories could not be more true. Write the least amount you can that still gives the DM a framework. Trust that your dm will flesh it out in ways you didn't even think about. The Briarwoods and Percy's backstory is the best example.

Watching this now feels so weird. It doesn't sound like there's more than like 50 people in the crowd. Now CR's panels literally overcrowd conventions, as evidenced by MCM. It's so much fun to see them just get bigger and bigger.

I could listen to these two talk for hours.

I vote for a matt and taliesin podcast! :D

I'd be fine if these two started a podcast and just talked about whatever topics that came to mind. I don't know what it is about them, but they are so interesting to listen to.
