This video is designed to help students, lifelong learners and professionals understand Two Wrongs Make a Right-- a common mistake in reasoning and argument.
In this video, I discuss what the fallacy is, map out its basic structure, point out what goes wrong with reasoning in the fallacy, examine three easy-to-understand examples, and give you advice about how to spot and avoid the fallacy.
This is part of a whole series of videos discussing common fallacies. To see the whole series, you can click here: ru-vid.com/group/PLy91AvVMEx_9q5dUC_w2AFzaS-qBN3mEg
Intro music is RU-vid's public domain mp3, "Keep It Tight," by John Deley.
Gregory B. Sadler is the president and co-founder of ReasonIO. Guys, I think we should consider letting Dr.Sadler's commercials run so that he can at least derive a mere drip of income. It's the least we can do to compensate the man for his time and energy!

Marcelle Elliott Well, I don't think moral character can be taught in the sorts of modes of "teaching" that we use with many other things. But certainly, a lot can be taught, that then can be progressively integrated by that person in the course of their moral life, decisions, reflections, etc.

I am not sure if i understand it. Is justice a fallacy? Are courts irational by sending criminals to jail?

Really good video. I would have liked it more if you spoke about the cases where the argument is valid like someone directly insulting you. In such a case the reason would be that you don't want to just stand quiet. Again, you did spoke about when the action is “justifide“, but you didnt name any examples.

I give examples in each of these fallacy videos. You seem to want a video on a different kind of topic. Perhaps down the line, if I start making new content in this channel, I'lll get to something like that
