When you just can't seem to pass the religion check, then roll two nat 1's in a row WITH advantage #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg #dndpodcast #criticalfail #advantage #stinkydragonpod
I remember someone saying something about how if a character with bad rolls can cause certain habits, like a character that has poor perception cause they need glasses but they don’t realize it.
@@Perdix64its far better when the joke suddenly seems real because the damn half orc madeyou travel all the way across the continent for these "special" lenses just for them to never roll less than a 15 on perception after
@Perdix64 For sure, my character consistently fails athletics and acrobatics checks even with decent strength and dex attributes, so I've just put on her sheet that she is hopelessly clumsy. It's caused some great scenes, my favorite being the time I rolled a 1 and caused her to fall face first up the stairs.
@@ixieniapixie I remember one where my friend rolled too high a perception on an object that had no other use, which made his character see everyone at the table playing them which drove him mad.
I had a party break down a locked door, mend it back, then struggle to break it down again as they realise they have trapped one of the PCs in the room with a murderous ghost. They could not roll above a 4 to bust the door down when it really mattered.
@@milordo"He had to confess thinking girls are pretty in the 4th grade." The sentence doesn't allow room for interpretation, he thought that when he was in the 4th grade.
@@MartinFinnerup I'm saying to a ORC the super buff warriors who aren't afraid of everything. To them fear is pretty much considered sin cause their a warrior race. And that's what that character is. That's why when they said "there jsnt anything wrong with that" he said "yes there js"
Yeah, I had never heard of these guys either until these shorts and I absolutely love them now. I need to start listening to the podcast now. Is there a particular place you recommend starting or just go from ep 1?
I think my Dhampir (and as an Oxymoron and ironic joke, he was once an Aasamir) Rouge will probably do the same but will probably have to spill his guts out on any sins.
If brother Bastien wasn't dead and old and there: facepalm Amerai: (My character) "That's not a sin. That's just a fear." But Brother Batien died from old age and Amerai's human friends have passed away so, Amerai: "Bro, that is a fear, not a sin."
So Gum Gum pulled a Chunk from Goonies and started confessing everything........in my mind he was there for a while and at the end he was on the ground in tears......just in shambles
I cannot deny Gum Gum's himbo energy any longer. I have most of the day to myself today, so it's finally time to watch this full thing instead of just the shorts.
This reminds me of the time my Elf rouge almost died to a RIVER when 5 out of my 7 rolls were nat 1’s. My DM kept giving me chances to recover but it just kept getting worse and worse. I have never been more pissed in my life but looking back on it, it was hilarious
Who has this contagious laugh in the end? Edit: its mud and while the reason he had that Scottish accent as mud was what got me interested in this group, the way he laughs is a major component why I'm so addicted to these amazing people. I'm really not a morning person because I need quiet some time to wake up, but listening to this chaos and his laughs make me laugh out loud in public which is rare 😂😂
Shared this to somone, she then said, and I quote "Maybe he thought that being afraid of the dark was a sin because it would hurt the dark's feelings" and that sounds quite in character....
My DM was trying to find the weirdest roll for me to get a bagel. He went through acrobatic, history, animal handling before settling on religion. Rolled a nat 20 and got a bagel from God.
Gum Gum on the confessional for over an hour saying everything hes afraid of. The priest on the otherside woth a hand to his temple "My child, those are not sins."
