The best date to visit Dugi Otok, is for sure around the first and second week of august, since there is a local festival in sali, called saljske uzance, which goes over three days, with lots of rich cultur from the island, as donkey races, music, food and more. Just type in tovareća mužika on youtube, this is what will await you during the festival!

Actually, the bird wasn´t a sparrow. It was a swift (Apus Apus) - it is not part of swallow family, but close. They can´t take off from flat surface, so they need some higher place where jump down - cliff, roof etc. But anyways, it was good that you saved the bird.

Nice video! We went to Telascica and kornati national park also not to far from Zadar but we didn't know that you can stay there. So funny we did a video about our trip to Zadar and we used the same music as you when you show the apartment to also show our apartment 😂 Thanks for sharing Mélanie et Norman

The video is deliberately misleading. I came home from Dugi otok today (aug 2023). She is describing as she is all alone on the island, but in reality for example at salty lake, there is like 1500 people. Very very crouded. She also forgot to mention about entrance fee into the park and all other fees for parking at mainly all the beaches. It really is a beautiful island and I do recommend to visit it, but how she presented it, is far from reality. It looks like she was deliberately hiding some facts.. maybe she was financed by somebody...

I appreciate your response, but maybe try to focus on the positives next time. You just gave a bad review to the video which took me hundreds of hours to film and edit, all for free. No money or sponsorship is behind it. As you can see, my channel is tiny and I make videos with love and the only thing I get out of it are people’s responses. It makes me really happy if someone found some of my clips and tips useful and enjoyable to watch. Next time maybe think before writing a comment like this, as it might be hurtful to someone.

@@TootsieBlabber i wrote the comment so the others who would be googling for gorint to the island, won't be mislead by your video. I do give you credits for good shots and good edit. I also mentioned that is beautiful island and i do recommend to visit it, si it was not only the negatives. Does it make you happy that someone see your clips, gets excited, but when he comes there, he sees that is not exactly the way you presented? Why are you disappointed if I pointed out something that does not seem right?

👍 Unfortunately the more this island gets advertised, the more people you will find in the future. ..I discovered this island many many years ago And it was completely wild and with very few people, because no one knew its. Unfortunately this is the downside
