The quality is still pretty dang good, but also this kind of quality does give it a bit of a nostalgic feel. But all the same, Steve-O is definitely very wholesome and I miss him......
People use to imitate the voice and kid about him but he really left us some beautiful wildlife footage and a plethora of knowledge. RIP Crocodile Hunter
Love how in the commentary he feels he has to justify himself on little things like not saying 'Please' and 'Thank You' when giving his staff orders on how to move a massive, dangerous croc! Now that's a classy bloke right there!
@@seekernz7790 just that paul mccartney would get battered if i he carried on the way he used to. today he did.(if he did). Get battered! Dont like a bad sarcasm guy
@@alexthegreat8001 excus me paul mac cartney went any where he wanted with the beatles, nobody decided for him! (Except maybe brian epstein) so he ended up in a gpod spot
This is what I love about Steve....he never EVER thinks of what is cheapest or easiest for the people involved. He always considers what is safest and the least stressful for the animals they are working with. He designed his new capture box specifically with the crocs's safety in mind.
CeltycSparrow you clearly know nothing about him in real life he was a dick head an tries to ruin every other reptile person in Australia to corner to market cos he’s greedy , not to mention he torments animals got tv amusement, he got his karma enough said
@@iannoone7428 Have you been to his zoo yourself then? You've seen his work firsthand? Because I have....and I didn't see the SLIGHTEST HINT of what you are claiming. He's always worked with great professionalism and respect for the animals. If he DID ruin another reptile person it was a croc farm or some fool torturing animals on the side of the road. He is probably the LEAST greedy man I have ever had the privilege of knowing.
came her after watching Bindi do a Dancing with the Stars episode where she did a tribute for her dad...very heartbreaking :( RIP Steve, you are missed.
This man was an absolute legend. Watching the way he interacts with and talks to the animals is amazing, and is a huge part of why I love reptiles almost as much as Steve did.
Deepak Syal , that's so true. I love steve and I wish I could meet him. I love his show. Rest in peace steve Irwin. R.I.P The crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin. There is always going to be a place in my heart for Steve and his family. Wish I could have met you. :(
This video just pop up on my YT recommendation for first time after 13 years?? Damn!! Steve was a legend and nobody can be compared to his skills. RIP "Crocodile Hunter".
PETA: Steve Irwin was cruel to animals 3:36: Literally puts a tarp on the ground so the croc feels comfy and won't get hurt (I'm a vegan btw so you know how stupid PETA were being when they said this if a literal vegan is pissed at them)
Other Croc and zookeepers sedate them to move and work close to them, Steve never did because of the risks, he always put his own life at great risks to keep them safe. He did so much to get attention to conservation and how animals were suffering in the wild. PETA can stuff it.
If anything, all this encouragement for the crocodiles to attack him isn't cruel, it's an opportunity for the crocs to practice what they would naturally do in the wild. Good job, Steve.
I remember watching this when it came on tv probably over a decade ago now. Watching it now brings back a lot of nostalgia and the pain as the realization that a great man is no longer with us. R.I.P. Steve Irwin you will always be my hero.
I love Steve Irwin - I remember watching one show where there was this tiny insignificant lizard and their habitat was being destroyed by brush fires...and Steve came across a few dead ones and he was actually moved by seeing them dead...I knew I liked him then...and I knew I LOVED him when i saw him on Conan O'Brien... Miss you Steve :0)
Steve Irwin was truly a inspiring individual he put his life on the line to educate people about the world they live in...he will truly be missed R.I.P STEVE
I miss Bob at the zoo. it would've meant so much to him to potter around there and help out in his retirement. I hope he's doing well, wherever he lives now. Steve Irwin is an absolute Legend. Love him more than words can say ♥ ♥
In this episode Crocodile Hunter is showing his new invention The Rope Crate. How it works is The Irwins go into a croc pen and place the crate by the edge then comes the tricky part they have to lure the croc out of his or her pond and place a snare rope and duct tape on the jaws. once the jaws are secure the wranglers move in another rope is put on and both ropes are ran into the box while the wranglers pounce on or wrestle the croc. When the signal is given the wranglers jump off and flee the pen and the croc is pulled into the crate and the trap door is slid down. Timing needs to be perfect or the croc will bolt and the wranglers will be eaten or pulled inside. Once the croc is secure the Irwins have two options either carry the crate out or lift it out with a crane and put it on the back of a truck. In the past The Irwins used a chopper but they don't do that anymore because with the Savanna any chopper flying over The Zoo will spook the animals so today all crocs are moved with a crane Graham and Bindi don't have to move far for their moves because their enclosure is inside The Crocoseum. The other crocs are in lagoons outside so they have to be moved when ever The Irwins do work on the zoo like in this episode.
for those Interested, CASPER IS STILL ALIVE!! i have videos of him up on my channel, as well as his full feeding demonstration! he's since been successfully paired with a female, who's name is Wendy, and she also appears to be leucistic! during egg season last year, there was a nest in their enclosure, but their eggs were pulled, and not incubated (just like all the other eggs) because the zoo simply doesn't have space for all the baby crocs they'd get! (with 10+ mated pairs, they'd easily get 200 or so baby crocs)
In the documentary Australia's Wild Frontier, he refers to the unfortunate legless lizards caught in a bush fire as "God's creatures"...so no, I don't think Steve was an atheist.
There's also a video of Terri praying with Bob and Bindi when they were really young, I thought it might just be a prayer in general (not necessarily religious) but there's a chance it was.
Molly and Mad Murray down next up Psycho Charlie and Amy now that is going to be a fight because Charlie and Amy don't like to be captured remember they were bread in captivity on a crocodile farm and they almost ended up as leather. But they need to move to the Crocoseum because Acco is next and that will be a fight.
he has to the bravest person on EARTH! never in my life would i work with one top predators in my world! and be like inches to feet away from something that kill me in one strike or death role! he's my role model for animal conservation! i can't wait to meet you in HEAVEN, Steve! RIP
