Hello po 🤗 The Printable Pattern for Sun and Moon Granny Square is also available in my Etsy Shop: www.etsy.com/listing/1702149742/ Thank you so much for watching this video and Happy Crocheting! ❤️
Hi, I just finished making your sun granny square when I found this one I like even better ;) I thought that apart from the center, the rays and the blue outer layer would be the same as the sun square, but it seems like it's different, is that correct? Is there a reason for that and which one would you advise? I would like to make some suns and some moon/sun squares and I want them to be the same size, so I'd like to use the same blue outer layer for the both of them.
Yes it’s different, i tried matching both of them when i was making the pattern but I cannot sacrifice the design of this square just to match the other one :(( I think its possible but will look weird or not flat You can add 1stitch in each side of the square of round 7 or 4 random stitches in round 7 then just ignore round 8 and its the same stitch count with sun granny square
Woww woww. Wonderful.SUBSCRIBED.could you pls share link to buy milk cotton yarns. It's looking so nice i think its smooth too. Pls reply. OMGosh, I am just learning to crochet. I have given up on Granny Squares because they never turn out. Until now... the speed you crochet along with the instructions on the bottom, I have finally made a Square!
DIOS, QUÉ COSA MÁS BIEN PENSADA Y BIEN REALIZADA. ME ENCANTA PORQUE SE SALE FUERA DE LO CORRIENTE. ESTÁ BIEN DISEÑADA Y EXPLICADA. CON SOLO SEGUIRLA, TE SALE. MUY BUEN PATRON Y EL TRABAJO !!!!!!!
Oh my God!!! Ty!!!! So amazing! I'm currently making a sun and moon blanket thanks to you. I have about 8 squares so far. Long way to go. I just started a little more than a month ago, and your tutorials have helped tremendously! Can you do a moon with a star one day?
This was a fantastic tutorial, I had a lot of fun making it! I messed up at some point and made 13 sun points instead of 12 but it still came out amazing in my opinion. Great work!
Yo soy hand left y simplemente aprendí mirando este tipo de videos en RU-vid, copiando los movimientos. No fue sencillo pero lo logré y hoy tengo mi emprendimiento de Amigurumis
I'm a lefty living in a right hand world also! I've gotten used to it over many, many years 😅 As long as you are familiar with the stitches it's really not that difficult to follow a right-handed tutorial. Give it a go - you might be pleasantly surprised!
Thank you so much for this tutorial ❤😊 I want to make this into a large granny square for the back of my crop cardigan, how would you suggest I do this to get a larger granny square?
There’s a lot of methods out there but I always use the “whip stitch” method even if this method is very time consuming. I just personally love it. Here’s a sample video on how to do it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8RUt-VSX9PU.htmlsi=_MkH3_Auu9at_ZOD
@@creggyscrochet Ok, thanks! Last one I made was a sunflower granny baby blanket and used the join as you go, I didn't like the ridges it left, too much texture for me. I think I will go with the whip stitch for this one. Nice, clean look. Thanks for the quick response!
TY so much for this it is the center of my afghan. I'm making this one for my daughter with all her favorite things in it. I used navy for the background. Her name is Celina and it stands for moonlight. I also put four Celestial moons in the corners. My mother though they were just Cs. 😃
It’s difficult to increase because will affect the overall pattern and you have to adjust a lot of things so i suggest using bigger and hooks if you want a bigger result
Hello, love this tutorial. ❤ One question, when i make this i followed exactly and it turned out right but at the very end, the instructions says to do 18 sc before doing the corner however in the squares i've done, there were 17 st between. What did i do wrong exactly? Bc it looks the same as yours. Thanks for the video :)
Está quedando precioso Gracias por enseñar esos talentos que te envió el señor Jesucristo te envió el Espíritu Santo para que hicieras esos carpetas tan preciosas esos tejidos y bendiciones por compartir tu talento bendiciones muy
hi, i want to ask, do you have to do 2 stitches-ch2-2 stitches in the chain 2 space? what if i want to use half double crochet? does the pattern still same?
Quedé enamorada tanto de este tutorial como de las bellezas que veo en tu canal... Así que Nueva suscriptora de ❤. Gracias por compartir y abracitos de colores desde Colombia!!! 🤗🤗🤗🇦🇲😍
I don't understand, I've done this twice now, stopped to pause after every few seconds literally slowed it down so I could copy your exact movements and twice I've ended up with a sun with only 11 rays :(
I suggest you try someone else’s sun pattern. There are many out there. They talk you through it. It’s to hard to read and watch at same time. I did the same thing you did.
Good Morning! You just happened in my feed! Serendipity! Subscribed and liked. My littlest grand loves "sunandmoon". Obviously, this project sings out to her! Have a fabulous today! Steph
I love it and I have it in my Etsy cart already cannot wait to get my hot hands and hook and yarns on it. woot woot sweater here I come! I love your patterns! Gracias!
@@creggyscrochetI want to make cardigan with this motif but I think 13 cm will be too big. Can you please make a tutorial with smaller size? Thank you! ❤
One question! How come the tips of my sun's rays are not curved to the side like yours? Mine seem to be more above, like straight up, and I love the curve tip look!😮
I think it is because of my color changing technique, if you look in 12:12 and 12:30, I always placed the previous yarn in front of the yarn that i will use :)) the downside of this technique is that you always have to rotate your project or untwist the yarn.
@serenity6415 I watch the channel Craft Folk, and she has a wonderful moon tutorial. It is the best one I've found. She makes it very easy to follow. She has several tutorials on a whole celestial set. She does the sun, moon, and 2 kinds of stars, and she also has a moon phase tutorial, too.
This is the best tutorial I have ever watched; you've made it very easy and clear to follow because you aren't blocking anything with your fingers like others tend to do. Subbed! I'm going to go down a rabbit hole of all your tutorials.
Simple. To the point. Challenging. I just love this tutorial even though I don't usually keep up with subtitled tutorials! I did 2 granny squares using this tutorial!!! Plus it was sooo much fun to make. And thankfully my granny squares' sun rays are curved. I followed every single detail. Thank you so much for this lovely tutorial. I turned the notification button on so PLEASE do make other future tutorials. Much love.
