I ve never seen a video where the crocheter measured the chain to determine number of stitches, maybe I’m just a newbie. But this is so precise! I aspire to be this good !
I found out on Friday I am expecting a baby girl❤️ (my first child) and I can now start crocheting girly things for her! I started this cardigan today and I can’t wait to see how it will turn out. This is such a cute and interesting model, thank you so much for sharing it with us! Also, you explain so well! Thank you again!
Simona, I’ve been waiting for this!!! I love how you give your measurements. I took pictures of your measurement charts for easy reference. I’ve made 2 other sweater coats of yours. They are so unique and beautiful! Never stop creating. We appreciate all your tips and tricks and the recipients of your designs are blown away. Thank you THANK YOU! ❤️
I wish there was a pattern to follow because I do better with patterns. I would like to make this for my 2-year-old granddaughter. I love your ideas and am now following you! Thank you and God Bless
I so love this jacket.. I have already made 4 and I am making 1 more for a friend who have just given birth to a beautiful baby girl.. Thank you Simona so much.. this one is my forever favorite ❤
Very well explained, thank you! I’m making it now and I’m lefthanded😉 I’m now in the row making the ruffles. Hope everything goes well from here. It looks like it does. I’m using hook 4 and had to make extra rows to get the 11,5 and 18,5 cm for yoke and until the waist. My yarn is for hook 3,5 - 4, but it’s wool and very soft. Probably that’s the reason I have to make more rows than you did for size 6-9 months for my little girl. Anyway, it is very helpful to have your measurement charts. Greetings from the Netherlands and a big thank you!
Oh wow... left hand I would not know where to start 😁 there could be a few reasons why you had to do extra rows like you said maybe your yarn is a bit thinner or it could be just different stitch tension then mine . I hope it will work out for you 😁 fingers crossed 🤞
Hii, hope you are doing fine ♥️ I would love to tell you that I just have completed this crochet dress .. your explanation ,the way you teach everything is superb . ❤ Thankyou so much Love from India ♥️
Absolutely beautiful...never had anyone explain in a tutorial all the measurements. Trying to follow not a very experienced crocheter...but doing fine so far.
Thank you for a great pattern and tutorial and explaining all the measurements. I’m going to start making this. Could you upload a pdf of your 2 charts please? I’ve tried taking a screenshot to print but it doesn’t work. Thank you so much. From Heather in Dorset S England 🇬🇧 XX
I love this The ruffles example was too difficult to see what you are doing so I had to make my own version I had to watch so many times but didn’t get it
This will be a repeat of everyone else, but thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and teaching it so very well. I love how I've learned something. Do you have any videos on how I would figure out the numbers for older children or even an adult? Thank you again! I have made up my charts as you've shown and I will use them for future projects.
Can you please tell me how much yarn you needed for this 6-9 months jacket. This is gorgeous and such a great tutorial thank you. I appreciate your time in creating this video. Blessings Sarah 👍🌈
Can you help me please? 1. When I finished the hood and sewed it up it seems quite pointy, is there anything I can do to fix it please? 2. For the frill at the bottom I have done the shells, and when doing the next row e.g. single crochet chain one single crochet in the same space, it’s pulling my work in and making it wavy at the bottom. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this please? I’m really enjoying this pattern thank you so much 😊❤️
Absolutely stunning!! My only issue is that I want this to be a surprise gift for my niece who is having a baby in early September. I thought a fall/winter jacket would be nice and your design is so cute. But since the baby girl hasn't been born yet and I don't if she will be a small, medium, or large body size from birth I'm going back and forth on which size to choose from your chart. Thank you for all the size options. I think I will wait until the baby is born, buy it will still be a guess as to how much she grows until late fall or early winter. Any suggestions would be helpful.
If I would be aming to make this for a baby to fit about November-December I would go for the 3-6 months, my thinking behind this is... the sleeves can be rolled back a bit more and she could have something a bit warmer underneath, does that make sence?
This coat is precious. I've to make now for my baby girl in the same purple color, I have to much yarn on this color. I love of your'e job, I love your explications. congratulations. 👏👏👏👏👏 you excuse my english is so bad 😅 I try to expresate of the best possible way I hope I have me gave to understand
I was working on 2 years old baby... But the division of back and front was not predicted by me can you please help me how can I divide it for 2 year old baby
I, like many others, I LOVE this sweet "coatigan" ! Is there a written pattern? I would be DELIGHTED to pay for it. The lesson on sizing & building the yoke is SUPER Valuable! THANK YOU!
Hi my name is Jean and i am from the uk, can you please take a picture of sizing chart as part of it is cut out in the video. Absolutely love this pattern its beautiful
@simona crochet Can you help please? 1, when you count your sts at the end of each round how many sts does each side: fronts, sides, back, increase by? eg how many sts should I have at end of each round for yoke please? 2, Can you upload a printable pdf version of both your charts please? Or can I download them from anywhere please? If I can get my head round this, I would like to try make a few of your items. You’re an excellent tutor, I love your patterns, thank you 😊 I have ME and Fibromyalgia and am have difficulty getting my head round this, frogged it 3 times so far lol. Thanks from Heather.
Hi Simona thank you for your tutorials, you are such a great teacher! Thank you! I’m trying the cardicoat. I’m at the stage where we join the yoke. My yoke length is good but my back or half chest measurements are over by 6 cm. Will this be okay ,Should I continue or is there a fix for this. Thank you!
That is too big 😔 any way you could take out 2 rows and then crochet them again, but instead of making 3 stitches in the corners make only 1 and mark that stitch, that way you would stop increasing early the chest early, does that make sence?
Hi love this jacket. Can you please tell me what yarn to use please. What to make it for my granddaughter she is 2 years old thank again love all your work
Heyy! I really loved the cradicoat and i really appreciate the tutorial.... Could you please tell approx how much of yarn you needed for this project.....
This was shared on a Facebook group and I LOVE IT! I'm definitely going to make some for my daughters (3 and 18 months). I can't wait to get started. Do you have any sort of idea how to figure out how much yarn is needed to create one of these?
I really want to make this for my baby I'm having in September but want to make it in 0-3 months I do so much better with a pattern or tutorial for the correct size. Any suggestions before I try to start?
