WELCOME to my channel! I'm so glad you found me! I can't wait for you to make this pumpkin decor. I have 2 that I love to set out this time of year. 😊🧶❤️
I absolutely love this pumpkin more than others I’ve seen, it looks like a more natural pumpkin kinda like a real one I have now for decorations Almost the same color body 😂 you did an amazing job Tiffany! Thank you 🙏 for this heat amazing tutorial! You are amazing always with your tutorials! You are greatly appreciated my sweet Tiffany! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hi Cynthia! Oh I am so incredibly happy that you like my pumpkin and tutorial so much!! I hope you like my next tutorial just as much! Thank you so much for watching! 😊🧶❤️

Awesome tutorial on making this pumpkin! I thought that this would be much harder, but you made it simple. So wonderfully explained. Thanks a whole bunch.
Tiffany, does your tutorial skip showing a step?? It appears to go from where you go to stuff to synching it but it doesn't seem to show how you begin synching it together at the top..it skips to you finishing synching..??? Also, if I wanted to make one a little smaller how many stitches would I want in my foundation row?
Hi Stacy! Great question. I get where you are coming from. I chose not to show me synching that side because it is done the exact same way that we synched the first side. I thought I had mentioned that right before the transition but if it is more helpful for me to show steps like that I will make a note and make sure I do that in the future. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Great question on asking to make it smaller. You would just make your rectangle smaller. This herringbone half double crochet stitch is worked in a multiple of any number + 1 in the foundation row. Which makes it super easy to adjust. 😊 Hope this helps! 😊❤️🧶
@@CrochetWithTiffany Thank you!! No need to show how to synch if the same on both sides..just wanted to be sure!! As a newbie to crocheting I have lots of questions. 🧶❤
I love it! That's a great question. The Herringbone pattern is actually worked in any number of stitches + 1. So, if you would like to make your pumpkin just a little bit bigger you can add less chains than that. 🤗💖🧶
Oh Sue! You could 1,000% do what I do. I’ve been crocheting things for so long I just started connecting dots or seeing how other people did it and how I could make it my own. My goal is to show everyone how easy crochet can be and hopefully give them the confidence to unleash their own creative brain. You will get there! I believe it whole heartedly ❤️😊🧶
Great question! First, watch to see how the pumpkin is constructed. It's just a rectangle! Then see how you might be able to create that rectangle to achieve the cushion shape you are looking for. That's it! I hope this helps and that you are able to figure it out. 😊❤️🧶
That could be a couple of things. One, a stitch tension thing. It is very common for people to crochet with different stitch tensions. You might have a tighter stitch than me which would result in that. OR it could be that the thickness of the size 4 weight yarn I am using is thicker than the thickness of the size 4 weight yarn you are using. I know this sounds weird but it has to do with WPI (wraps per inch) and that each yarn size has a thickness range. If you would like to make your pumpkin larger you can try doubling up your yarn, working with a larger crochet hook, increasing the number of stitches you use following the multiple stitch count requirement of the herringbone stitch or a combinations. Best of luck to you. Have fun!
Wow, Tiffany! 'A really great tutorial, for a great end result! [ nope, I'm not being payed, and Tiffany "doesn't have a clue" WHO I am! {: ( ] This "punkin"-stem is a really good one too (you can definitely pick this punkin up by THAT stem : ). ...and besides the type of stem she's made/taught, making this pattern even more NATURAL is the fact that a maker can choose to place the tightening strings as far or close together, possibly giving the crocheted version as Irregular as the real thing! Thank you Tiffany!
I am so happy that you had such a great experience with my pumpkin tutorial. Honestly that was my goal! So thank you so much for the feedback because now I know I did what I set out to do. Lots of love right back at ya sk844! 😊🧶🧡
Your instructions are awesome! I've gotten where I watch a video all the way through first. So many videos the person goes so fast you have no idea or they say and this part finish off...?? Ok like how. I subscribed although I have no clue if you still do videos. I will definitely be looking for others of yours. Thanks for s wonderful video!!
Hi Lori! I am so happy you found my channel and are enjoying my videos! Yes! I am still very active here on RU-vid and release one to two videos per week. My philosophy for my crochet channel is to think of all the questions someone watching the video might have or problems that might come up and address those so people know what to do when they run into it. RU-vid is a place to go for answers and I try to provide those through my videos taking as much time as I have to to do so. I hope you do get a chance to look through my past videos and I can't wait to continue to crochet with you in my new ones. 😊🧡🧶
Thanks for sharing your large pumpkin tutorial I just finished mine I used different segments because I was a hard time with the ones you were using here's a picture of mine but other than that I'm very happy with the way it turned out .
A tip for everyone I use panty hose to line my toys pillows etc just so you can’t see the polyester inside and so little hands and fingers can’t get it and pull it out . I think it would be appropriate for these pumpkins as well just an idea
I can't tell enough how great full I am for your prefect instructions and showing your patients. I'm going to get my yarn and hopefully make different colors. Thanks for sharing!😊😊😊
You might be using a smaller hook size or smaller yarn! I always use 3.5mm hook when tutorials say 4mm just because I prefer tighter stitches, and mine also come out slightly smaller. This vid recommends 4ply yarn and a 4mm hook! 🍂🧡
Totally get it. Check the time stamps for a quick fast forward to just what you are looking for. I hope that helps. Some people really need all the stuff I talk about in the beginning. 😊❤️🧶
You crochet beautifully. It's relaxing just to watch you work. This is an awesome video. I will be making some to give to family and friends. Thank you!
I just finished mine and I absolutely love it! This is hands down the best tutorial I’ve come by and it was a lot of fun. I love that you threw the little “you’re doing so good”in there too. Thank you! ❤
