You do lovely work. I really enjoy learning from you. I haven’t crocheted in a few years. However you have inspired me to pick it back up. Thank you.

I have been crocheting for about two months and have just managed to make my first African flower following your tutorial. So easy to follow and the centre is so much easier than a magic ring which I do not seem to be able to get the hang of!

What a fabulous way to make a centre, definitely going to try this 👍🏻 And at last someone who crochets the same way as me, when my nanna taught me to crochet when I was about five she desperately tried to stop me from wrapping the yarn round but that was the only way I could do it and thats how I’ve done it ever since. It might not look right to some but it works for me ❤❤

I love this! I don't mind doing the magic circle but this chain start is so much easier. I also hold my yarn as you do, did you learn very young? I believe I hold it like this as I started with very small hands. Thank you for this video, its great!

Thank you. I learnt to knit first as a young child so I think that’s why I use two hands 😊

I’ve never seen anyone crochet like you do. Using your left hand to put the yarn over your hook, it looks awkward to me. Beautiful blanket, I love African flowers.
@LittleDoveCrochet
@LittleDoveCrochet 7 месяцев назад
Not awkward at all, there are many who crochet like me. I expect I would find your way awkward. Thanks for watching

I have found I do the yarn over with my left after I spend some time knitting then go back to crocheting.
