It may very well stretch out to fit your hoop. Or you could do another row similar to the last row except add 1 chain to each ch5 loop and do the sc into the previous row ch5 space

Good question! Just use a larger hoop. It is stretchy so it will stretch to a larger hoop size. Let me know if you make one and which size hoop you use!

Absolutely! Funny I replied to this comment a couple days ago, but it disappeared! LOL. It will just be a little thicker than wrapping it. Let me know if you do it that way and let me know if you post finished pictures anywhere! I'd love to see how yours turns out! :-)

Depends.You could add a 6th row starting with a single crochet in one of the picots. Then I would try (Ch3, picot, Ch3, SC in next picot) repeat around joining with Sl St to first SC. Let me know if that works.

Hi Alejandra, The yarn is a #4 weight yarn. We call it worsted weight.. I think in Spanish it is called : hilo de peso pescado Let me know if this helps. El hilo es un hilo de peso #4. Lo llamamos peso de estambre.. Creo que en español se llama: hilo de peso pescado Déjeme saber si esto ayuda. Estoy usando el traductor de Google para escribir esto.

+Cindy Butler possibly if you make it with thinner lighter yarn and smaller hook. Or leave out one of the last rounds if doing with same size yarn/hook as demonstrated here.

I haven't tried it with acrylic, but it's probably worth trying. they say that cotton is less stretchy than acrylic, but I'm pretty sure I have seen others make mandalas like this using acrylic yarn. Will you let me know how it goes? :-)
