This is literally amazing. It’s probably one of the best crochet dresses I’ve seen. I would really love to see how you did the weird tapered square and shoulder pieces in a RU-vid short if possible.

I'm getting into knitting and crochet, so it's great seeing other fiber artist Canadians! The idea for the dress is so cool, to tie dye granny squares! And the result is amazing!! 💙🍁

this dress is so so beautiful! the shape is so flattering and the blue gradient compliments it perfectly! I almost exclusively freestyle and seeing you use a dress form to build up a garment made me want to get one so badly. I usually just make unreadable notes on a sticky note and constantly try on my unfinished garment but I think having the dress form would change the game entirely

This is so inspirational. Thank you so, so much for showing me the concept I've had stuck in my head for months is actually possible, because I had honestly given up on it and it's SO cool that someone else came up with it and executed it so beautifully. I'm gonna have to do this technique myself sometime and make my dream cardigan. Disclaimer in case it's necessary: I'm not laying claim to having the idea first. I just had this idea of gradient squares a while ago, privately, completely in my head, and set it aside for some undetermined future time because I had no idea how to make it happen practically.
