Written vers. Main body: Slip knot and chain 57 or 12 inches Skip the first 3 st and dc in the fourth st Dc til the end Ch 2 and turn work Dc in the back stitches only til the end Ch 2 and turn work *continue making rows like this until it’s the desired length or 6 inches* Once the desire length, you sl st both sides Stop where your thumb would align and only sl st in the top row Continue sl st both rows together until the end Cut off yarn Flip inside out and done ! (Make sure to see that it fits and then fasten off)
Little tips for people who want, don't start the chain of single crochet too tight because when you will start youre double crochet you'll see that it is not straight

I love youre channel! Its like step by step and somtijds other RU-vidrs go fast but the double crochet is hard cause it goes a little fast but it does not matter i will try :)

so i'm done with the first one but i made 12 rows which was green and black but the rows was chaotic so it was too thight and ugly. wasted my time and yarn :(
AWESOME TUT!! i'm a beginner so I didn't really get how to do the ribbing effect bit, but I scrolled thru the comments and now I think I get it. I chain one then flip my work over and double crochet into the first v into the back loop, is that right? tysm
I know I’m late, but maybe try doing the first two rows black and the next two rows the other colour :) also if you already know your measurements and how many rows you’ll need then you could plan out the pattern ahead.
Hey im late but i dont know what to do because we have the same type of wool (idk how to say it in english sorry) but when you did the second chain i did the same but mine is so thin and your was more wide. Im a beginner but we did the same so do you know what to do?
hii! sorry for the late reply, it could do with the type of yarn you are using! i am using DK acrylic, if your yarn is thinner just add extra rows until your liking :)

You also may be crocheting too tightly and therefore the yarn would have a lot of tension in it. Try crocheting a bit looser. I'm not sure if yarn quality would affect that, but what blend are you using?

can someone tell me if at the beginning when working the double crochets in the initial chain, is it skip 3 and then double crochet into 4th stitch or double crochet into 3rd stitch
@@dvniew Count your stitches! Maybe you’re doing extra stitches by accident? The first few rows can also look a bit wonky but the more rows you add with the same number of stitches it will look more structured! Hope this helps
