For this to be tutorial for beginners, please provide info: type of yarn, size needle used, where to find or purchase pattern. I did check your other videos hoping to find more info to create this project but I found nothing. Thank you in advance if you are able to provide this information.
Just an fyi as beginner myself, I have actually made one by accident... I crocheted a rectangular small lap blanket or bath mat size (as that's what I was attempting to make) I realized that by folding in half and securing the edges with 3 rows of double crochets on both sides it not only secured well but it was pretty bc the same colors now ran opposite of the bag (I used 5 different colors) then I crocheted a strap about 3 inches in width and about 3ft in length and secured them ontop of the open end and wahla I had a really cute tote/purse/book bag. I used a variety of yarns but I used three strands for each "color" to make my own "chunky" yarn. The best thing about crocheting is it's hard to learn but once you do and you start to experiment with different textures, colors and patterns you'll be surprised how much more you appreciate your own abilities at the wonderful creations you come up. The fulfillment is tho we can get a gist of how to make something from watching a video even a short without instructions, etc (no offense to the creator of this sort at all, I'm actually completely doing the opposite)... It's so fun to make your own variation of what you're looking to make. THEN when you wear it out or gift it out or just display it, hearing other's compliment your work is so rewarding. After all there are two types of people in this world those who crochet no matter their skill set, and those who will not even try!
