Stitch Key (US Terms)
CH - Chain
SS - Slip Stitch
SC - Single Crochet
sc2tog - Single Crochet 2 together
HDC - Half Double Crochet
DC - Double Crochet
dc2tog - Double Crochet 2 Together
dc3tog - Double Crochet 3 Together
Make 2 Flower Granny Squares
Start with Yellow
CH4 + SS into first CH (creates ring that we will be working round 1 into)
Round 1:
-work CH3 + 7DC into ring
-SS to top of beginning CH3 + fasten off yellow
Round 2:
-Attach White into any stitch
-CH2 + dc2tog into same stitch @ch3CH3 (creates first petal)
-dc3tog into next stitch + CH3*
-Repeat from *-** until end of round (8 petals total)
-SS to top of first petal + fasten off white
Round 3:
-Attach Mango into any CH3 space
-CH3 + 2DC into same space (Counts as 3DC)
-3DC into next CH3 space
-*3DC + CH3 + 3DC into next CH3 space (this creates your first full corner)
-3DC into next CH3 space**
-Repeat from *-** until you reach first set of 3DC
-Work 3DC + CH3 into same CH3 that you started Round3 in
-SS to top of beginning CH3
Round 4+
-Go back into CH3 space you last worked and work 1SC + CH2 (counts as first DC)
-2DC into same space
-*3DC into next space between 3DC from previous round + 3DC into next space
-3DC + CH3 + 3DC into CH3 space from previous round**
-Repeat from *-** until you reach your first 3DC
-Work 3DC + CH3 into same space you started round 4
-SS to top of beginning CH3 + fasten off
Joining Squares
-With right sides together working into both squares at the same time, work 1SC into each stitch along one side to join squares together.
-Work 3SC into CH3 spaces
-Repeat until you've joined 3 sides.
-Sew in all yarn tails and turn pouch right sides out
Crocheting Top of Pouch
Round 1:
-Attach white into any stitch along top of bag ( I like to attach to the right side of either granny square)
-Work 1SC into the top of each stitch
-When you get to where 2 block join work 1SC into the first CH3 then sc2tog started in CH3 space you just worked in and finishing in CH3 space of next block.
-1SC into the same CH3 space and continue working 1SC into each stitch
Round 2:
-Attach Mango + CH3 + 1DC into next stitch + CH1
-Skip 1 stitch + 1DC into each of the next 2 stitches + CH1*
-Repeat from *-** until end of round
-SS to top of beginning CH3 + fasten off Mango
Round 3:
-Attach white into last CH1 space worked of Round 2 + 1SC into same space
-1HDC + 1DC into next stitch + 1DC + 1HDC into next stitch + 1SC into CH1 space*
-Repeat from *-** until end of round
-SS to top of first SC + fasten off white
-Weave in all yarn tails

zig zag this cord in and out of CH1 spaces of Round 2 of top of pouch
