i doubled the amount of rows and used a super tiny yarn (it was thread ok) and it looks so delicate and almost like lace i'm in love.... the diamond pattern is really coming through, the fabric feels stretchy but super durable, truly the best thing i've ever crocheted so far (as a beginner)
@@mwiammaiwm it was a 1.75!! just bc that's what i found at the charity shop, thinking it'd work even better with a 1.5, could also work with a 2 you'd just need to make your stitches not too loose
I wish you hadn't stopped... I usually follow youtube videos because I struggle with written patterns so I couldn't finish this one as I found it quite difficult, I know it can be tedious but you could have continued to crochet at a higher speed with some background music or something. The pattern is very beautiful so I wish I could have finished
@@creativeswirl6002 We are all visual leaner and still need a guide. I hope soon I can read patterns and understand how it works. But for right now I still need a guide because I am suck too, It got confusing after row 8 and I dont know how to start after the chain 4 and Double crochet 2 in the chain space.
Love this pattern. I just finished this pattern within 6 hours with no breaks. Thank you so much i do appreciate your effort for sharing your creation.
If you run the video to 3:24 min. and then stop it, you should have a picture of the flat bandana lying on the table. You can count the stitches and follow that. (The pixelgraph she supplies is not much help, as all the stitches are lumped together.) At the widest part of the diamond there are 10 stitches between the holes.
Ditto. I actually just got a hang of following the instructions broken down into individual diamonds & diamond row😅 and then bam, the teacher checks out, and I am again completely lost😢.
i just crochet one of these for my best friend, ive never crochet something like this before and it was honestly one of the most soothing crochets ive ever done...it only took a few hours! its super easy once you get the hang out of...brb while i make a million more of these
I just finished doing this for myself and I LOVE IT🎉It just took 2 days with breaks, super easy, super fun pattern, and it's soooo cute thank you so much for this one, hope more people find it💖
Here are some additional notes that helped me! - Every time you’re skipping stitches (so in the 4th and 5th rows, and the row right after the top of a diamond), you’re *chaining 1* - Your 3rd rows will always have *6 stitches* (not counting the 2 DC’s in the chain spaces) - When you start skipping stitches on the 4th row, you will double crochet in *6 stitches* - When you start skipping on the 5th row, you will double crochet in *2 stitches* - If a diamond looks wonky, make sure you put 2 double crochets in the chain spaces of the previous row. I found this was my most common mistake; it pays off to double check each row of the entire work after finishing it, rather than having to frog a ton (yes, I did learn that the hard way!)
I just made this and I love it! Only took a few hours, really easy and the instructions are super clear! Thank you for this video ❤ if you are thinking about making this I definitely recommend
Woah! I finished the granny square bandana from your turorial literally yesterday and loved how it turned out. And today you upload a new one! I will be excited to try and crochet this one also during the summer ^^
i kinda figured it out after the follow along ended but its sooooooo messy! but this pushed me to practice reading patterns more and im proud of my scraggly bandana lol 😊
Thank you SO much i loved this pattern and tutorial i made one of these for myself and it's so pretty I'll definitely make many more for my upcoming market
I had a hard time following after she stopped until I counted the stitches and then I was able to keep up with it For each diamond Row 1: 2 stitches Row 2: 6 stitches Row 3: 10 stitches Row 4: 6 stitches Row 5: 2 stitches
Great video, but damn this pattern f me up 🤣 i kept making mistakes then not finding them and having to redo over and over again after row 7. Its my fault not the patterns but man i got so angry Thx for the video
Beautiful, Viv 💚 🙏 Thank you for another clear tutorial. It's a beautiful pattern and i loved the background music! If my crochet is "looser," should i drop to a 4mm hook? Or try to tighten up with the 5mm for the draoe? Any advice is welcome ❤ Thank you 😊
Thank you! I would test it out. Try crocheting some double crochets with a 5mm hook. And if the stitches are too spaced out, you can try again with a 4.5mm and so on
Hi, is there a way you can write out the crochet pattern here from row 7 so that some of us who are visual learner can maybe try to read it and continue your work. Much thanks ◡̈
thank you so much for this tutorial! just wondering, the start seems to begin with a magic circle and then it turns into a slipknot with a chain 4, but then it kinda turns into a magic circle again. is there a reason it doesn't just start as a slipknot/magic circle with 4sc?
Dude YOU CANNOT ABANDON US IN THE MIDDLE!!! It took me nearly 30 mins to figure out, that I can’t do this and I’m out, little DISCLAIMER:please see the full video before beginning
