I'm using chunky yarn and a 8mm hook because I wanted a soft plush. I finished the head and realized this it gonna be HUGE😂 I'm gonna send it to my chosen sibling because I asked and they said "YES"

I do mention at the start that people will need to know how to do these stitches before starting. I’m soon to release some tutorials on how to crochet which might help you, but this is a tutorial on how to crochet a bat, unfortunately not how crochet generally!

I recently joined a knitting/crochet club where the fabulous ladies taught me how to do a slipknot and I have learnt the basic stitches. I made a hat following a RU-vid tutorial which my daughter loves! She now wants this bat after seeing me search for patterns. I’ll have to research increases and decreases before attempting this but I do believe I was doing them while making the hat without realising. I’m hoping to learn how to read patterns so I can make this bat! It’s super cute. My question is, I used chain to create the loop and round for my hat, is the magic circle better? Love your work, hope to buy a pdf soon
