Is this not the perfect handmade gift you have been looking for!? Yes even absolute beginners will be able to follow along and make this crochet beanie for a special present, or make one for yourself.
If you are looking for a more gender neutral look, simply leave out the border detail out at the end. Basically the last row. You can make this in any size, from preemies to large adult sizes!
The materials I used for this beanie are the following:
2 different types of yarn in a medium 4 weight (see below)
Size 6mm (j) hook
Scissors
Measuring tape
Stitch markers or paper clips
Yarn needle
patience!
Disclaimer: if you are one to look at every detail, yes this manicure I got is not the best one I have gotten. To the girls defense she is new and needs to learn. Someone has to give learners a chance, how else will we learn.
