Crochet blanket border/craft & crochet border 

Thank you for your easy to follow tutorial. I made a very simple HDC lap blanket and made the border from this video. It looks stunning! I am definitely going to use the border again. Thank you again so much. 🌷🌷🌷

I have just completed this pattern, modified to an adult throw measuring 60” x 60” square before border. I chose a worsted weight yarn and 5.0 mm hook. I wish I had chosen a 6.0 mm hook for a more airy presence. There is no stitch repeat count provided for the border, I’m sure I could calculate it if I really cared but I just carried on with how my stitch and rows came out. Needed to modify as I encountered corners and it’s not perfect but you will never see it on such a large piece. I originally intended to make this twin size but the pattern is too tedious to have gone any further…thought I was going to die it was so boring. Will only do this pattern in knit versions going forward….used just about 6 pounds of yarn ~6000 yards.

The blanket and the border are both beautiful . I have a question. If I want to make the blanket wider and longer, how does this affect the counts for the border? I'm assuming for the wave sides I would add 19 stitches to the count for every wave added for the width, how many for the length? Thank you!

I'm making this beautiful blanket but smaller. I worked out and cast on the correct number of chains for the pattern to be right but now I've come to the boarder the shells and chain spaces aren't coming right. Can you possibly help me by giving me the stitch count please 😘

I just finished this blanket and am very happy with it; absolutely beautiful! Is there a pattern for a baby hat to match blanket pattern #1204? (This is the 4th blanket pattern of yours I’ve made, as well as matching hats and cardigans; and love them all.) Again, I would love to have a pattern for a matching hat.

is this blanket supposed to be a perfect square? i counted 72 rows now and it is more rectangular. i did use a yarn a couple sizes larger
