Just stopped by to say thank you very much for this amazing tutorial! I'm an absolute beginner to knitting but still managed to create this boat with you step by step. Hope you are having a great day. Cheers!
I just finished two crochet baby blankets, one for a girl and I did a ruffled edging fir that one and the boy I did variegated blue and edging four rows of half double crochets. I also had problems understanding the directions,so I finally just worked with it and it looks good!
My niece wanted to do this but had problems the entire time. She went as far as to slow it down several speeds and she and her husband was trying to write down the pattern. She called me begging to crochet this for her. I thought sure, no problem. Been crocheting for years and never had a video I couldn’t understand. Honesty I couldn’t understand half of what was said. Was not the language barrier, it was the editing, the speed and I have no clue what else. I had to stop and rewind at the beginning of each row. I hate saying this but I felt you would rather read this than have a thumbs down on the video. I know this was a free pattern and should be thankful but it’s like giving someone a car with no motor. I really do like the finished project. My niece was going to use this as part of a mobile in a her baby’s room. The room is in the nautical theme and this would have looked wonderful. By chance could you direct me to a written pattern so I can help a pregnant hormonal lady? I should be ashamed asking for your help when I just slammed your video. Out of all the videos of the finished boat, she loves yours the most.
