I have just started learning how to crochet and like you I am naturally left-handed. As such, I have been holding the hook in my left hand, but I just switched and tried your method. Holy smokes! What a difference! It is so much easier to get consistent stitches! Thank you!
I like this stitch, double wrap, a slip stitch, a single stitch, finished with a double crochet. I think that that will help reinforce the steps that I have to do. Thank you for sharing this stitch with us.
Very Interesting Stitch❣️ Love It ❣️ Love the texture too ❣️ I just Love all of your work ❣️Then again you are a huge inspiration for me❣️ Thank You for sharing with us ❣️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Wow! On a recent trip to hobbycraft I got a ball of spirit to have a go at a mobius shawl, now I'm frogging it all as this stitch us perfect for a mobius as it will grow much quicker and I must own up to being an impatient crochet- er lol, thank you 😁💝
Oh, that's so cool and such a beautiful multi coloured yarn. It's super relaxing and calming to watch you work your stitches and you are a joy to listen to. Cheers from Western Australia.💜💙💜💙
Thankyou for a cool new stitch and a very clear explanation and demonstration. Crochet edges still make me a little nervous but your straight edge is so easy.
I am coming back to tell you how much I’m enjoying this stitch. This time I wrote down your instructions, because I had set aside a blanket I had started in your Braid Stitch and when I came back to it, I knew I was missing something...all better now!
I have tried so many stitches for the variegated yarn I have. Finally a stitch that makes my yarn look wonderful even with the short color change. A really fun stitch! Thank you!
Being 4 years ago, doubtful you will see his comment, but...Two weeks ago, I got a mill(i-cord machine), and have gone mad with it!! Am almost to the top of a large box with corded balls of many different colors of sock AND 3-light weight yarns. Now, I was looking for a stitch that would do well for a THICK sweater, and oh my, your original may just be the ticket. Keep yer fingers crossed....Thanks for your ideas and tutorials!! Love your original stitch too....
Beautiful stitch. I will be trying to use the Lucet Fork wo make a cord from my left over sock yarn and I think this stitch will crochet up beautifully with the cord I make. I am so glad I found your video
I LOVE your braid stitch! I used it with a thicker yarn and a 6mm hook, now I'm using a thinner yarn with a 4.5mm hook. I have some Cygnet Boho Spirit yarn on the way. Can't wait to use the stitch once again with that. Thank you for the great stitch! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤
Ronnette; I agree with you on the speed of the tutorial. I loathe how many intermediate and advanced projects are still presented as if to teach even beginners. I get the reason is to increase viewers and subscribers but I simply remove my name from channels that have these practices. It wastes my time and it's unfair to the experienced crocheters. ❤
Hi im going to try this stitch it looks awesome plus i luv the way you talk as if we were right in the room with you 💐💐 thanks for putting a smile on my face 🙂🙂💐💐
It looks easy enough. I’ll give this a try in a scarf 🧣. I thought I had made a new stitch and found out I hadn’t. I hope this is a new stitch. Good luck.
Hooked by Robin: I looked at other braided stitches, but I believe is is quite different. I like it better. The other braided had stitches that looked of being knitted, but it was not. Thanks for the idea of a scarf. I’m going back to my x stitch that I thought I created. Mine does not have spaces like some I’ve seen. Thanks! This tutorial is a saver. 😀
I love your vids, Robin... thank you. I made my first crochet project thx to you, which is a triangle granny shawl. I'm a beginner so sorry but can you please clarify how you are ending the row into where exactly now? Before you chain and turn... thx in advance for any help.
I’m getting ready to make your Lotus blanket and seen this stitch. I guess I’ll be ordering more yarn again too for this to be a big blanket. 😂 Beautiful stitch!
Pretty stitch. Saw your drawing of the person with a letter. So cute i had to check your channel out. Im a beginner and love it. I make plenty of mistakes but its fun. Love the colors you used. Cool stitch. Thank you for going slowly, very much appreciated. Blessings
Do you know about Mikey, from the crochet crowd? Very easy to follow, very good teacher and he's actually quite sweet. Go check him out it'll be well worth it, bet you'll subscribe within the first video.
Carey Loves Coffee & Crafts. Hello Carey have ye tried this stitch yet in a Granny square and if ye have did ye do 3 of these stitches in each space like the normal 3 double crochets in each space please.? I've tried it but only doing 2 of these stitches in each space doesn't look right at all then tried 3 of these stitches doesn't look right at all so I give up. Maybe I'm missing something. Love from Ireland xxx
Brilliant, hectanooga 1 did an extended dc to show how to het more from yarn. But I think she went through one look at a time whereas you go through 2 loops at the start. The effect is beautiful, thank you 😊💖
