Congratulations on getting so close to being monetised on RU-vid, my main account I’ve had for 18 months and still less than 600 subscribers! You have done so well! By the way I love it when you have your hair that way, it’s looks very nice on you. Sending prayers for your father ❤
I would love to get a grouping of patterns. Love the cow, elephant, and bear. I like something I get familiar with. I wish you were closer. I would love to hang out.
I am praying for your father. I personally don't usually shop on personal sites unless I am dying for the pattern. I will buy on etsy and ravelry because with such a large pattern library it is just better to consolidate where they are. I download them all but when I need another copy it is just easier to know where to go to find it rather than trying to remember the name of someone and their website that I may have only ever went to one time. PLUS- etsy and ravelry are both long standing sites that I am fairly confident in- but personal sites come and go or relocate all the time. Just some insight as to why it might be hard to drive traffic to your site. Not that I think you should stop trying. Just some stuff you might not have considered.
All very good points and I just used that feature on Etsy hunting a pattern I bought long ago. I am pretty positive that as long as Etsy is around I will continue to use it. Ravelry has never been a good fit for me when it comes to sales.
Sorry to hear your Dad is unwell-it's alwasy distressing when family are not well! I appreciated the background business infomation because I am just a youtube watcher and websire visitor and customer so I have no idea how the business/money side works. I guess buyers are always looking for the most economic options so it's good to know the best way to support business owners like yourself. I wonder if you could offer the 3 patterns as a group with a slight discount for buying all three that way, but also list each of the animals as able to be purchased individually at a slightl higher cost per item. Maybe that way you could give everyone the option for what suits them best. I like the cow toy but I wonder if it would make a difference if you added a little udder between the back legs to make it appear more 'cow like' to those who aren't sure. I'm sure you will work out what is best as you seem like a smart person!
So glad I could bring some light to the subject. I am thinking that the double offer is the route to go. I did think about the udders but still haven't made up my mind on that, thank you for your feedback.
Putting an udder on the cow is a hard decision as it's so hard to know how people will feel about it, isn't it! I'm sure that whatever you decide will be just right! I think the cow looks like a cow-the neck isn't long like a giraffe. Hope your energy levels improve for you!@@southerngalscrochet7523
Easy cats rock! Definitely will be one of the things I sell at my fairs! I think having a collection of items is awesome (would love to see a giraffe added to it), but spread you wings and do them separately as well. More variety, more income. I just don’t like the gummy bears (Not picking on yours, just never liked them, I think they are boring, just my opinion) Why don’t you drop Etsy as so many are because of the fees they charge? Push your website, it costs you more. I think your website is awesome. I’m buying your Halloween series next! I just hit 1k subscribers on YT. Not sure if I’ll monetize or not. We’ll see. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 for a speedy recovery for your Dad! ❤️🦋❤️🦋
I hope your father is doing well. Thank you so much for your insight into the business side of things. I never considered the Paypal fees when checking out! I think I'll try to add my credit card info from now on when I shop from small creators :)
Hi Dear One😘I hate to bother you about this, but what yarn & color yarn did you use to make YOUR AWESOME CHICKEN⁉️I love your Chicken Design sooooo much & am making lots of them for Gifts😁😁Thanks & Loves Ya’ Bunches, barbie (S.E. OHIO)
I used 2 strands of Just Chenille, on one of them I used a combo of Just Chenille and Bernat Baby velvet. I have seen many photos of people just using one strand of Blanket yarn and they look lovely.
Hiiii! I really have a plan about crocheting Freddie Mercury, but I can't find the perfect pattern.. Maybe if you have time, can you please make a begginer friendly one?
I hope your father feels better soon. I love all your creations. I can tell it's a cow. I'm wondering, can you do both? I mean can you offer each one separate and also as a collection? That way if someone wants just one pattern they can buy it that way or if they want all three then they can buy it that way, if they want only 2 then they can either buy all 3 or 2 separately. Just a thought. I don't mind your talking. It's interesting to learn about the business side of things.
What is Itsy? Is it a selling site like Etsy? I'll have to google it. I can totally understand why you don't advertise that you have Itsy. Way too many fees! Enjoyed your video as always! P.S. I think your cow looks great! I wouldn't change it.
