Im so confused regarding the jam cookie. The bottom layer has 24 stitches and the top layer has 18.. how do you crochet them together? Do you take 2 stitches in every 6th stitch? All cookies are adorable! I got inspired today when I saw this video, my granddaughter is 2 today and I thought I’d make these to go with the tea set I’m giving her tomorrow 🙃 Thanks!

Hi Sally. Skip 1st from the bottom randomly 6 times. Your granddaughter is going to love them. I made these cookies for my children a long time ago, and they still play with them 😊. Have fun! ❤️

@@Nymfbbsom2414 you could use thick yarn and a bigger size hook. Keep increasing on every row and you will have a big circle! Hope it helps. Thx for watching 😊

WoW! So cute!! I’ve never seen anyone use hot glue on a crochet project like this before. Also, I wonder if I might just make “chocolate chips” on both side, that would make for a cute keychain. Thanks for sharing your tutorials!!

how does 18 dc in the top jam cookie line up with a bottom cookie that finishes with 24 stitches. I've watched this over and over again. Am I missing something??

Tge last cookie, one side is 18 sts, the other side is 24 sts, how could you sc backwards? there is 6 sts difference...???

Hello Tahta. Yes the pattern is like that. You skip one st from the bottom every now and then 6 times.
