I’m so grateful for the no-sew tutorials, I’ve been stressing out over placements and pinning for a lot of other amigurumi patterns and this saves me so much of a headache.

Your welcome! 🥰 I’ve since altered this a bit in my designs. If you follow the sitting snowman pattern it works up a lot cuter. hii!! thanks a lot for this. i just need to ask one thing cause i want to make a chibi doll so i need to make the head bigger. how do i do that? which rows do i need to repeat a few times or something?

You will want to keep increasing till you have your desired width. Then for every row you increased you’ll do one more repeat row. And when you get to decreasing, you’ll have the same amount of sc in the set and decrease instead of increase. So if you only did one more increase row- 6sc, 1inc (48) 8rows of (48) 6sc, 1dec (42) 😊

Thank you so much for this pattern! This doll base looks exactly like a game character shape that my son loves. The character he likes is under a temporary development, and it will be unavailable in a few days. It costs $30. I unfortunately don't have that kind of money to blow. It doesn't seem like a lot to some, but right now we're in a financial bind. Luckily, my son is very humble and understands. He's been trying to sell toys he no longer plays with, just so he can save up to get it. But I'm gonna surprise him by making this doll base. All I have to do, is change the colors and add a big eye on the middle of the head. 😆 Sounds like a weird character, I know. Thank you!

Oh that’s awesome that I can help you make such a special gift for your son! 🥰 most of my patterns are made from the sitting or standing base pattern, like your going to use. And why I videoed just the main body. That is sooooooo not a weird character, to be honest it would fit perfectly on my channel, lol. When I use this for a face, I usually put the eyes around row 9-10, 4-6 stitches apart, depending on if I’m pulling them in closer at the end. 😊

What does increase mean/do my brain isn’t processing it or seeing a difference in what your hands do.

Increase. Is two single crochets in the same stitch. So if it’s 3sc 1 inc , that’s 3sc over 3 stitches, and 1 increase is two single crochet in the next stitch.

Yes, 😊 you can always substitute the invisible decrease when decreasing, I don’t because I seem to have a visible bump when I do mine. But I’ve only ever done it on one project, so I probably need more practice before giving up, lol.

It depends on what you are making with it, so I left that up to the viewer. Normally I put my eyes between rows 9 and 12 somewhere and about 8 stitches apart.

No, ☹️ I had plans to make clothes but just used color changes to make different characters, and outfits. The closest I’ve gotten is a jacket and vest on other full videos.
