I'm not crazy about the patchwork one, but I appreciate the crochet work . I am always excited when mainstream designers feature crochet . The prices reflect the work involved.

Good morning, Olga. I hope all is well with you. I do agree with everything you’ve said regarding these crochet dresses. They are beautiful but not that practical. I always have a number of people asking me to make them things like this. Recently it was for newborn clothes, only the newborn was no longer a newborn! 🤣 And I always turn them down. I do not have the patience to work around measurements that constantly change. Anyway, I would love to see your interpretation of a beach cover-up. And we look forward to seeing what you were working on. Such a lovely pattern. I definitely could see that as a blouse or bolero or even a poncho. And of course you can never go wrong with a beautiful shawl. You could even add some pretty beads or pearls. Well, take care. 🌻💕

Hi Shannon, all is well, thank you! I agree, it's very challenging to crochet for specific measurements, especially for a baby that is growing! I take crochet commissions, but only for things that are one size fits all like blankets, scarves, shawls, etc. I have so many crochet ideas this summer and I feel there just isn't enough hours in a day for crocheting!

Well, that was fun and the shawl you are working on is beautiful! I am thinking swimsuit coverup using that stitch would be nice. A shawl with the fishy appliques (app li k, is how we say it here😊) would be a nice cover-up, too. The last one would be awesome as a cover up! I loved them all. Some are not too practical for everyday wear. I would not like to make something that could be worn only one time. Thank you for sharing these with us and I am excited to see what the finished project looks like that you are making. That stitch pattern looks intriguing!❤️

Hi! Thank you! I just love the stitch I'm working on right now. I also want to make a scarf with it, and possibly a rectangular shawl. A coverup would be great too! So many ideas, and not enough time in a day to crochet!
