Crochet Easy Hooded Cardigan / Mosaic Stitch

This Hooded Cardigan was made using the Mosaic stitch that is quite easy to do even for beginners. I made a size XS can fit Small too. You need your shoulder to shoulder measurements, shoulder to cuff measurements as well as preferred length in inches.

Materials I used.
Medium weight yarn, (4 balls of brown, 3 skeins of cream) use any yarn you like.
5.0 mm hook (use your yarn recommended hook size)
Tape measure
Scissors

Wow. Thanks for this. I was wondering tho', why don't you cut the yarn at the end of each row? I don't generally like to cut my yarn, but carrying it through so many rows just seems like a waste.

You can decide to cut it at the end of each row, I just hate weaving in the ends because the work ends up looking messy 😊

@@accrochets yeah, I know what you mean. What I do is carry the ends the same way you carried the yarn in the video as opposed to weaving them after my work is done. I think it comes out looking neat enough.

This is a very cool pattern. I tried one that had mosaic on the front lapel of the cardigan. I couldn’t get the hang of it. This is kind of like tapestry (or is it intarsia?). Thank you.
