In this video tutorial i'm using mercerized cotton yarns called YarnArt Begonia(50g/169m/185yds) of Turkish origin. The hook is 2.7mm (or C/2 in USA size or 12 in Canada/UK size).

Thank you so much for this! I'm making my daughter a crochet comforter for Christmas with a black velvet yarn and I wanted to make pretty colored flowers to sew all over the blanket and these are the most beautiful and well suited to my project I've found. It beautiful I try but i think in my country has different type of yarn so it different when it done. could you please tell me what type of yarn you use or even brand of yarn so i will try to find it. Thank you for your kindness

The best yarn I can recommend is Hobbii 8/4 Rainbow yarn. It's a fingering/sock weight cotton yarn. They also have some in Turkish cotton that is divinely soft, but will be floppier (better if joining them for a shawl or sweater maybe?). Just try and stick with anything sock, fingering or sport weight (1-2)
