Hi Kerri. Great video. The frogs are very cute! I made one to embellish a poncho that I Crocheted for my 2 year old grand-niece. Would you mind giving the pattern fir the smallest frog as well, please? Thank you for sharing your work. Luciana
Thank you Luciana, for the large frog I used 8 ply wool which is light worsted yarn and for the small frog I used 4 ply crochet cotton which is a similar thickness to Petra No. 5. I didn't change the pattern for the frog just used thin cotton. Hope this is a help to you.
Hi Gail, the leg parts are both worked the same but you start the toes in a different place to make them opposite. You join 3 sts before the end centre stitch on one leg and at centre stitch for the other leg. If you are still having trouble email me at kerri@kerriscrochet.com
I give a stitch count when I'm doing a difficult pattern and it needs to be accurate. For the circles it wouldn't matter if it's a stitch or 2 out for the overall look of the appliques except when I made the star and you needed a specific amount of stitches. You just work row 3 until you run out of stitches.
Yes, I made it in 3 different types of yarn. I have the sizes it turned out on my website on kerri's crochet frog pattern. I use a smaller hook size than I normally would when crocheting appliqués but use what you are comfortable with.
yOUR ANIMALS ARE SO REAL LOOKING. i THINK THEY ARE GREAT. yOU go through your crocheting them so anyone can do them. This is just what I was looking for YEA! I visited a lot yesterday spending hours and hours but couldn't get to put anything crrent which is not fair to you with all the work you put into it. So I'M GOING BACK TODAY TO COMMENT ON YOUR ANIMALS THAT i WILL BE USING ON MY BABY BLANKET'S FOR THE PREMATURE BABY UNITS. TALETHAOLIVER
Hello Nancy, we had a family get together today and they let him out of hospital for a couple of hours so we could all have lunch together which was lovely. He was in a happy mood and pleased to see my sister as he hadn't seen her for about a year.
