There seems to be no end to the creative designs for the granny square. Just when I think I have found the one I want to use in my project I came across this beautiful design. Decisions, decisions. Thank you so much for your time and talent I love the texture of this gorgeous square ❤❤❤
I have finally finished my queen size bed blanket in this beautiful pattern.. I am now starting on my second one with a slightly thicker soft yarn .. I get so many compliments because it truly looks so lovely.. Thankyou so much, I appreciate you sharing your awesome work with us .. ❤ Best tutorial I have come across on YT .. 💐
I'm not an experienced crochet-er, but have made very simple blankets for two of my grandkids. I'm feeling a little more confident, and would like to try this for the third one. Did you make your blanket of multiple squares, or is it one great big square? Call me lazy, but I don't like the idea of fiddling around sewing in all the ends.
Because of your tutorial, I decided to take my scrap yarns to make a granny square blanket of of them! Thank you for such a great tutorial and inspiration!♥️♥️♥️
This was so fun! I am a beginner crocheter and just learned how to do a magic ring last week and this was pretty easy to do. Also the way you showed how to do the magic ring was very helpful - much easier.
Excellent teacher! Thank you so much for taking your time and explaining as you go. The only thing is--I have 4 Granny Square Blankets in the making and now I like this pattern even more❤😊! Just finished making a California King sized Granny Square blanket for my Pastor (she liked it so much when I had just started on it---I gave it to her as a gift). I can't tell you how many runs we made to Wal-Mart buying yarn!😊
I really enjoyed your tutorial. You explained it very clearly and you showed it on the video very clearly. I’m going to try it when I’m done with the project I’m working on thank you so much.
oh my god!!!!!! idk where to start with the compliments!!!!! the visual and vocal step by step is sooooooooo clean, easy, and well put together that makes it that much more helpful to learn this pattern! seeing the thumbnail i thought i was going to be lost and confused but i had none of that from the start to the end of the video. i REALLY appreciate all of your work you do for us, please dont stop posting!!
Thank you so much for the tutorial. I liked the way you showed exactly where the stitches go. Could you please tell which rows to repeat to make it bigger.
Love this absolutely beautiful granny square!!! I’m going to make a throw and a pillow cover using this lovely stitch pattern!! Thank you for sharing your excellent tutorial! 💕🤗
I really love this design. I was following you as you crocheted. It is so easy. I am a fan of granny squares. I have a book of granny squares and I challenge myself to some of the difficult ones.
Do a starting chain of four, slip stitch into the first stitch, and use that as the magic ring. Do all of your double crochets into that circle, you just can’t close it like you could a magic ring. But plenty of people use that method instead
When you do the front post crochet and you wrap the yarn twice (before going behind the post) you’re actually doing a front post treble crochet. Beautiful granny square though. Way better than just a basic granny square.
Thankyou so very much for your excellent tutorial, so easy to follow along with you and the most beautiful pattern granny square I’ve seen . I will try to make a throw blanket with exactly the same coloures you have used … I usually use tulip or clover hooks but the one you are using looks so easy for the yarn to glide through, can you please let me know what brand hook you are using ..Also what ply is the yarn please ? Thankyou so much again and God Bless 🙏♥️
A magic ring is basically like a starter got like a granny square or a flower when u are done with all stitches that go into the magic circle your are left with a string that will adjust it that is kind if what it is
This is my go to pattern, it’s such a beautiful, beautiful pattern.. You explain everything so patiently.. I bought the yarn today from our local wool shop, I bought off white, grey & a large skein of autumn colours, I want to make to large throws.. The yarn I bought is called half and half here in Australia. It’s a 10 ply, 50 percent wool and 50 percent acrylic .. What ply yarn & crotchet hook are you using please ? Thank you so much for all your excellent tutorials .. God Bless ❤
