Today we really use only scraps of yarn as I show you how to make a small mouse who measures just an inch and half in length.
Written pattern can be found here on our blog;

All you need is;
- Dk/Light worsted weight yarn in black and brown or white
- 3.0mm crochet hook or any hook suitable for your yarn
- Yarn needle and scissors
- Some toy stuffing or yarn scrap for stuffing

Happy Berry Crochet: Thank you so much for your tutorial. I have made other mice, but yours was the cutest! This pattern seemed hard at first because I kept getting lost in counting the stitches...Duh, so I used a stitch marker on the first SC made on each Row, Round, Level, (whatever you want to call it). People, you could use a bright piece of colored yarn, a safety pin, a bobby pin, etc. actually, I used a springy hair barrette. Well, that and bright light! ...and voila! These mice are going to a very special group of little girls who are the mice for the great Mouse King in the Nutcracker Ballet. Thanks, Happy Berry, you made me happy!

I love these mice! They're the purrfect size for our 3 cats. I filled mine with my homegrown catnip and made it out of Lion Brand-Let's Get Cozy Chenille Appeal in the color Storm Front. This yarn is to me a mini chenille but when it's crocheted it feels like suede. I found the yarn at Hobby Lobby.😊🐈‍⬛❤

Great tutorial. I used it for a toy mouse for my cat who kept trying to steal my wool yarn. He is in love with his new mousey (and mommy is happy the ball doesn't keep vanishing).

You may not find this as hilarious as I do, but I was trying to do this pattern from memory and instead of a mouse I crocheted what looks like the giant behind of a spider. This is why we follow tutorials even three years later.

something i like about amigurumi is that if you use thicker or thinner yarn and hook, it will come bigger or smaller, so i made bigger ones for the adults, smaller ones for the kids and teeny tiny ones for the babies ^-^

for the ear part, i didn’t do the five stitches in the middle. i don’t think it’s a necessity for this project unless you want more volume toward to ears.
