In this video tutorial i'm using mercerized cotton yarns called YarnArt Begonia(50g/169m/185yds) of Turkish origin. The hook is 2.7mm (or C/2 in USA size or 12 in Canada/UK size).

Yes I had the same issue. But I manage it by increasing the ch 7 to ch 11 and making it more higher by two after that ch 11. I am new to crochet . And learn using the vedios in this channel. So I don't know the correct words to explain what I did. Clearly what I did is expand the size of the round . Had to re-do it several times , but worth. .. Still in the beginning of 3rd vedio. A big thank to the lady who is doing this channel. Because she is the lady who taught me crochet. .. (but she doesn't know it)
