This is a tutorial for an easy and unique crochet stitch combination, perfect for blankets, coasters, placemats, pot holders, and so much more! Show your crochet skills with this special stitch and create amazing home decor items!
Crochet terms in this video (US terms):
ch = chain
st = stitch
hdc = half double crochet
prev = previous
The stitch I used in this pattern is the half double crochet. Normally if you crochet together 2 stitches, the total amount will decrease. By inserting in the same stitch as the previous stitch, you won't decrease. It gives such a cute result!
I tried my best to find the correct name of this stitches, but it can be very hard to find the exact names. If you know the official name, please don't hesitate to let me know in the comments!
