I actually tripled on this one. There's a great hack to triple the yarn from a single ball! I post it on my tiktok recently (@lagep), but I'm pretty sure you can find a video showing how to do it here on youtube too :)
I always get 2kg cones to use in multiple projects and never actually calculated the amount for this pillow only, but I just weighed one that's almost finished, without the tassels, and it's around 600g, so maybe 800g total? Keep in mind that it's one of those heavier rustic cotton yarns
