There are so many things I could make out of this stitch / tutorial - my brain doesn't know where to begin! But I do especially love your place mat idea, esp in a sparkly silver or red (or even this beautiful green) for the Holidays!

I absolutely love the Alpine stitch. This is gorgeous. Going to use this one to make my granddaughter a lap afghan for Christmas to use at work. Going to use Caron Colorama Halo. Bought 8 cakes way back when they were on a big discount plus got my 20% on top of that. Glad now I bought so many. Your a champ thanks Crystal🎉❤

I like this stitch pattern, thank you! I love the Green Apple ombre, I have spent time collecting enough to make a blanket for myself. Problem is I get so many requests from family and friends that I seldom have time for myself. I'm not complaining, I am blessed that my crochet is so appreciated. Beautiful blanket! Great tutorial. I have such a difficult time time pairing yarn to a pattern. I generally try to use what the designer uses and it just so happens that I have the Redheart Super Saver Ombré in red hanging out in my stash! I’m so excited to make this blanket. They are my favorite thing to crochet if it’s not a “boring” type pattern. And, this pattern has the right amount of stitch work to keep me interested. Thank you so much Crystal for sharing your knowledge and teaching us how to Crochet projects. You are certainly an inspiration.

Pretty stitch, wonder how many skeins of the granny all in one this stitch and pattern would take for a single / full blanket of if the back and firth would be better for this stitch. Would you double your yarn for the middle to it doesn't pull apart

If I wanted to make it for a queen size bed would I still start with a chain of 19 or should I make a longer chain and just make sure that I started with an odd number of chains? And about how many chains would I need to start with?
