absolutely loved the way you sectioned this tutorial and explained how to take the measurements!! I'm the worst when it comes to measurements and usually end up making pieces that are too small for me, so this was really helpful to visualize that part!! about to start this project, hopefully mine turns out just as pretty :)

@@HataMarieHoleckova yes just fasten off on the first piece and then for the back panel it’s as if you’re just doing the front panel again but with a different thing instead of the shoulder part. So yes you just start from the beginning and make sure the foundation chain is the same amount as on your front panel. Hope this helps ❤️
Heyy, when doing the Back panel part should we take same no of row we took for the front panel (like I took 10 rows + 4 row(shoulder part) for front panel, should I take 14 row for the back panel) :»

Hi! Came to this video after seeing an ig short of your work, and I just had to check it out. As a complete beginner, this pattern/tutorial was easy enough to follow. However, I would have liked to see how the entire work looked as a whole after finishing a row - if that makes sense. There were a couple of times I got a little confused, like how to finish the row. I sometimes struggle with finishing in the correct stitch, which ends with one side of my work looking a little wonky :( ... If you make another tutorial, could you maybe show that a little slower? I noticed you sped through a few of them. Other than that, this is such a beautiful piece, and I am looking forward to more videos from you! Thank you for uploading!

Anyway, I started my sweater already but I’m wondering what you mean about the shoulder part. Should I add a stitch marker on a stitch that has an odd number of stitches to either side?
Hi! I hope a little feedback is alright! It would really help if you expressed somewhere that measurements B+C should be longer than your measurement D. I know it probably seems intuitive but as a beginner making my first sweater I thought I could crop this sweater way more than I actually can given my arm size and now I’m stuck with panels that are too short! I’m not sure if I can fix it :( Other than that it’s a really lovely mesh and very fun to make! Your video style is lovely and I always love your ideas.
Of course it's alright, thank you sm for the feedback~! However, to avoid misunderstandings, it's not necessary for measurement B+C to be longer than measurement D (since some people might want to make their Riley into a shrug version / very cropped sweater). If your Riley is too short, you can add more rows after you assemble both front & back panels [30:26]! Hi, you're supposed to make the front & back panels' width equal one to another, otherwise the placement of the shoulder part and sleeves might not look right :') Yes, you may block your front panel to make it wider!
Awesome tutorial! Just starting the front panel on Riley right now as a beginner! I’m curious, I have more and more bunching going on with each row, I *think* I’m following along correctly but I’m unsure of what’s happening
