This video is absolutely brilliant. Your filming, lighting and editing is spot on and you’re a fantastic “teacher.” You made it easy to follow with your clear and concise instructions and it was lovely to hear your personality come out. I genuinely enjoyed every single moment of this and I will definitely be dusting off my hooks and start crocheting again. In a very short space of time (18 months) I’ve lost both parents unexpectedly and my very best friend and my hubby got diagnosed with cancer and I’ve been “living” (more existing” and walking around in zombie mode haze. Your delightful video brought me such comfort and for the first time in what feels like forever, I can see through the fog and I’ve got motivation to do something creative. This is the second tutorial where I've started along with you and then halfway through you tell us that you did it differently the second time 😅 I love your tutorials but it would be easier if you include in the beginning that this isn't your final pattern and your recommendations. I love your tutorials and videos, that's my only gripe lol I'm making the jewelry hanger now and at row 6 can see it not looking even. I'll probably frog it now and do your suggestion of 36. ❤

I'm curious. Why the long yarn tails? I usually hold the previous yarn color tail and crochet over that with the new color. Virtually no weaving of ends at the end of piece. Just snip the excess yarn not covered with the new color.
