April I have discovered a very easy MC: wrap yarn around index finger, like the start of a slip knot. Keep it loose, pull working yarn through loop scans pull to anchor. Now go on to ch3 for dc and the number you need. Close MC; to finish this off, I splice my 4 ply tail, pick up a stitch - pull 2 through now tie in sq. Knot and weave the 4ply under the stitches in the circle trim ends done! I’ve been crocheting for over 70 yrs . This has never failed me. Less awkward, Hope this is something you can use🫶🏼🧶🧶🧶🙏🏼🕊🐸

im new to your channel i seen terri from yarnjoy made your santa and im going to make one too :)

I followed every step as you crocheted, but at the end of the red hat I end up on the wrong side of the work. I started the hat on the right side. It looks like you did too. Any thoughts as to what I possibly did wrong? Love this Santa and really would like to make it.
