@@apple-mg5fv ch 2, 14 hdc, 3 hdc (outer color), 7 hdc (inner color), 2 hdc, (outer color) 15 hdc (main color) This is my first time actually writing well correcting a pattern so sorry if some things don’t make sense!
there might be more videos but easier for beginners i did this i was so confused that how can be this for beginners cuz when i was a beginner i could have definitely not done it. so i suggest you look for some easier video but if you wanna keep going then ofc continue :p
Its so hard doing the back loops i skipped to much chains😢 I ended up ruining evrrything and literally pulls out the yarn and hid my yarn on my drawer and cried
it’s okay!! i remember having a hard time with back loops too. it would help to search and look for a heavily detailed desc on how to do back loops. also practicing with smaller projects can help. nothing works perfectly on the first try xx
OMG! My first time, I tried making a baby bear hat with ear flaps and it didn’t turn out as I intended it to, it ended up being a flower! I cried too! But what I learnt was that always start small. And nothing turns out perfect the first time. So, I feel you girlie. It’s going to turn out fine next time. ✨
As an absolute beginner and a left handed, your tutorial really helped alot, im currently on my 3rd day now making this (i know im slow hihi) the only problem that i have is i allways miscount the chains making the eyes on my beanie look off, but overall this video is very helpful , i might do this again if i already learned from all the mistakes ill be making in the future.👍
@joan_of_tudor it looks like a safety pin but plastic it helps with marking the stitches there's other type it looks like a spiral but I've never seen it in my country
(just for me) R1: ch 42 R2: sk2 , HDC first eye done 3 rows of black until next eye 6 rounds after next eye. slip stich to close 40 close top (rib part)
This was the second beanie I ever made and the first one was not a total success. This tutorial was so helpfull and easy to follow and the pattern itself is amazing as well!
Thank you for the tutorial! Made this for my brother and added a satin lining and it looks amazing. Super fast work up too, only took me about 3 hours to finish!
Also any easier way would be to hide in the tale of the red/white in ur crochet same with the red and white yarn when not in use it helps a lot so while u crochet u go through the back loop but also have the red string with it makes it a lot easier learnt this from making another beanie
@@faizaarsalan5986what I did is making sure the yarn that I carry through the stitches can only really be seen from the back side and pulling the yarn right as I go and it doesn’t show through much except for the white part which is kind of unavoidable
hiyaaa! thanks for the tutorial! first time i managed to understand colourwork (believe me, i tried to watch idk how many tutorials, even mahum couldn't help me--) and i love the result!! sadly i didn't chain enough so i can't fold the bottom part, but it's still nice!! i plan on doing the gwen stacy one soon too! have an amazing day!
She is turning her work and is not working in circles... Her finished beanie has vertical lines...if we crochet the way you said, i.e., in circles, we will be getting horizontal lines!
@arghhhhhh8795 @rikkiok592 @faizaarsalan5986 omg, i'm so sorry guys! i just realized this comment is under the wrong video. 😭😭😭 i was so confused about why y'all were confused. 😂
It doesn’t take up that much idk how many grams but I used a little over a quarter of the main color. If took me about 3 hrs to make bcs I’m a beginner but I had fun making it 😅
hi, thanks again for this wonderful lesson, I don't know English very well, but that didn't stop me from understanding, I've already knitted 3 hats, and it's all thanks to you!!❤
loved this vidd, but next time please, there's obviously an option to not choose black, so please don't make a crochet tut with something so hard to see and follow, especially for beginners
@@Anna-pz2zsI think they meant just do a different color to make it easier to see. For example, they could've done the tutorial making a classic Spiderman beanie so the color would be red which is easier for people to see which stitches they need to put their hook in and the like. Then, for people like me, who are doing a miles one, can switch to black personally
Well this video isn’t made for beginners it’s made for beginner+ to intermediate and they don’t really need to see the Stitches they already know how to do it so if you don’t like it then watch another video…
@@kenna6431 exactlyy !! tysm, i wasn't hating cuz i genuinely wanted to make one myself (i made 3 by now hehe).. in my opinion i just thought it would be easier (for some people as well) to see the stitches for the 'tutorial' if it was another colorr that's all
Guyss she made a vid for the left eye part ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PYOj16405VA.htmlsi=HFMekoTkBL64bftY I was so confused for a while lol
thanks for this tutorial!!! i made the cutest beanies for my boyfriend and me for our anniversary. this tutorial was so easy to follow and it turned out so cute
@@marianomiya2046 I guess that it doesn't matter, you can always do the 42 chains but more rows ( i made 13 rows in the beginning bc i wanted that to be large enough) and a smaller hook size will just give small stiches. I hope that helped you.
At the start when you said Crochet 40 chains I believe that was for the size of your head but I crocheted 56 chains instead because 40 is too small for me I dunno so because of that trough out the video it's like you have to make a certain number of hdc with like red and white and for me it's not looking right because I have a wide rectangle so I don't know what to do.
Are you sure it’s 14 HDC because once I did that the next row was 15 HDC for the base color and yours seems to be lining up evenly like if you meant to do 15 instead of 14 and it’s just a typo incident
Thank you so much for this pattern! My nephew really likes Spiderman for some reason (he never saw the movies xd) But I’m going to try do this one for him since it’s almost time for the cold months again. How big is this beanie? Do I need to measure his head 🧐
dont mind me Chain 42 skip first two chains 40 hdc chain 2 40 hdc (back row only) do this 8 more times (so 10 rows) the eyes: im going to end this later bcs im so tired rn sorry
Ik this is a month late, but if you haven't found out (or for those that need help) : Once you have got to the point where it is just hdc back loops in one colour (usually nearing the end) then put it around your head (without stretching it) and see if it is too tight or too loose (if too loose then undo some rows until it is right, if too tight add a few more rows until it fits)!! Another way is: Measure the circumference of your head (around ears) with a measuring tape and crocheting the pattern until it reaches that length! (Still do check the fit of it) then you can finish off the project!! Hope this helps someone, have a good day and good luck crocheting!!
I made this and finish it 4 hour straight and in totally lost at the stitching part cus when i flip it ,i look like a lohan fish with spidey binnie cover on it 😭😭😭😭
I used a thicker yarn with a 4.5 mm hook and I found that the top of the hat was too tall and the gap between the eyes was too big. Instead I only did 1 row of hdc (base color) in between the eyes and would do 6 HDC of the base color instead of 8 before doing the outer color.
I’m so confused, I’m doing the same 42 chains and 40 back loops but mine looks smaller than the one in the video? Is there another type of measurement I can do?
you're probably using a smaller yarn type/brand. or you're using too much tension when working. i used 3ply yarn and ofc its smaller than i expected😭 if you found a way to make it bigger lmk
you’re so pretty ☺️ and also thanks for the tutorial, my cousin loves Spider-Man and im planning to make this for her birthday and Gwen’s hat for her girlfriend so they can match ☺️
I followed everything exactly how you did it snd didnt put as many rows because itd be to big and it lowkey came out different slightly it honestly just looks weird on
