just a small tip, but rather than using generalised sizing (s, xl etc) use ur bra size! i wear a size small in tops but im also a 32dd, so for me the five rows pattern (large) works the best here!
7:40 shaping into triangle 14:30 finish triangle (cut & make 2nd) 15:20 start single crochet around 17:12 attach other triangle 19:39 Center 2nd time 20:20 finish corner
As a bigger girl i love love love how easily the size was adjustable and that you gave instructions of how. Its something not very common Thank you so so so much!!!!
literally made two of these today (admittedly with thinner, tassel-less bands, bc im lazy haha) i'm so in love with this pattern, and that triangle itself is so cool! thank you for showing your drafting process with it, it was super interesting to see and i couldn't imagine the work put into figuring that out, so it was cool that it was added! tysm! i noticed your etsy only has custom pieces but if you ever made a written pattern for this i'd definitely buy it.
Not finished yet, but wanted to praise you for your creativity!! This pattern is so cool and unlike any other crochet project I’ve ever done! Feeling super inspired, thanks for sharing 😊
Making this in purple and black!! We appreciate all the hard work you put into these patterns and these videos. Your generosity to give this pattern away for free is incredible. Im so excited to see how this turns out.
Thank you so much for putting all that time into researching and creating this pattern! It looks amazing and you are a wonderful teacher. This was super easy to follow along with. 🖤
(for me lol) Row 1: - sc 6 into magic circle - ch3 - dc2 in each st - slip st to close row Row 2: - ch5 - dc into first st - (ch2, dc into next st)x11 - ch2, slip st into 3rd st of starting chain Row 3: - ch7 - dc on top of previous row’s 1st dc - (ch4, dc on top of previous row’s next dc)x11 - ch4, slip st into 3rd st of starting chain Row 4: - ch5, tc into starter st ( - ch2, dc on top of previous row’s next dc, ch1, dc again into same st - ch2, hdc on top of previous row’s next dc, ch1, hdc again into same st - ch2, dc on top of previous row’s next dc, ch1, dc again into same st - ch2, tc on top of precious row’s next dc, ch1, tc again into same st, ch3, tc again into same st, ch1, tc again into same st ) x3, don’t do last half of last - in sequence when approaching row close - tie off
Obrigada por mostrar com paciência e dedicação como fazer essa peça! Eu sou iniciante no crochê e achei muito didático seu vídeo, agora tu tens uma fã brasileira :)
I've been trying my hand at crocheting for about a month to two months now and I genuinely gave up on doing a granny square because I got too confused. I do not know how you did it, but it all makes sense now. I'm baffled by how simple it is in my brain now. Such a beautiful design, but also, again, truly just no words for being one helluva teacher my dude. You made it make sense in my brain and now I'm going on a social hiatus to make everything lmaoo
For a granny square Ch 3 St join in first stich you made, chain 3, 2 dc into the center, chain 2 on all corners, 3 DC into the mid till you have made 3 full clusters with 2 chains at the corners only into the ring plus your chain 3+ 2 dc, equal to 4 total clusters, to join your first round chain 2 then st into the top of the third chain, second round, dont turn, chain 3, go into the left hole an do your corner 3 DC ch 2 3dc, an so forth, I'm also a beginner so I hope this helps :)
Omg this looks so cute!! Thank you so much for your hard work making the pattern and thank you for the tutorial. I just got some white yarn in the mail today which would be perfect for this project 👀👀
Thank you for making this tutorial so much ❤ Literally the best crochet tutorial out there. My top turned out perfect (I made it pink so extra cute). Really guys it is worth it and you won't regret watching it.
I absolutely love this- so customizable! Not quite done yet, but instead of the tassels i decided to do a solid band and attach a half-circle spider web to the bottom! It’s looking amazing so far, and thank you for doing all that work on how to turn a spider web into a triangle haha, I would’ve never figured it out myself
I’ve been wanting to crochet a top but was too afraid to but then I saw this video and I just had to try it. I’m not quite finished yet but I’m already in love and super happy how it’s turning out considering it’s the first wearable item I’ve made!
omg THANK YOU i always crocheted amigurumis and thought that i’m not skilled enough for clothes ESPECIALLY in my aesthetic, but you made it look so easy and fun to make!!! thank you
A girl sent me the killstar top photos and asked me if I can do a similar one to her and I came to youtube looking for a tutorial for making spiderweb cups and your tutorial was the first that came up OMG that made my day ❤❤❤❤❤
I love this! I think I'll switch it up a bit and put lil picots in the cleavage scallops so I could potentially add a strip of chains to lace up the front, crochet bralettes tend to end up with the cups in my armpits no matter which pattern I use! At least a laced up front on this will match the spiderweb vibe 🕸️
I’ve been trying SO hard to make a spider web bra myself with no pattern because i couldn’t find exactly what I wanted. I’m so happy to have found this Because I was ready to give up. Time to frog all my attempts and start again!
Decided to do a random project for fun and im on day 2 of doing this top and im in loveee with it. Pretty sure i messed up a couple of times but it’s not even noticeable!! Literally so grateful for this tutorial im about to make two more in two different colors!
I can not believe you have long nails for this tutorial! Every time I try to crochet with longer nails even just semi short press ons it’s a nightmare 😂 thank you so much for this tutorial just in time for spooky seasonnnn 🥳🥳🥳🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸
This tutorial is awesome and the top is so cute! Thank you for providing this :) perfect for beginners too, even though it looks complicated it is pretty simple.
Your so talented i was just in a trance watching you 😊iam more of a beginner but id love to be able to do this you give me confidence thanks so much hun loves all your styles ❤
holy shit thank you so much for the hard work and all the effort you went thru bc this was so worth it! such a beautiful pattern and just in time for the spooky season lol thank u for the tutorial ♥♥
I actually had an idea for a spider web babydoll lingerie top but I just couldn’t figure out how to execute circle webs to triangles so this helped a lot!
on the original it looks like theres 8 points in the very middle that quickly branch out to two to 3 points totaling 18 points which is divisible by 3.
Ty soooo much for being a great teacher made it fast easy and fun mins is so beautiful bi wanna make all colors n sizes now with Halloween right around tye corner ❤🙏🏽💕
What size hook do you recommend for the L & XL size and what yarn weight do you recommend for doing this project that would work best? Awesome work btw really enjoyed this and can't wait to make one! ❤️🧶🕸️
when doing the scalloped edges i realized mine didnt end where yours was...its like as if I was missing 2 stitches, then i realized one of your triangles had 5 triple crochet stitches instead of 4 on that one right corner. You can count it at 23:48, am I seeing it right or did I miss something?? Its also the second triangle you crocheted so I couldn't see what was done differently. Ive realized nobody has mentioned this issue so I dont know what I'm doing wrong ahhh I've counted and redid that row a few times already 🥲
Yeah I made a mistake made on the second triangle but tried to at least provide correct verbal instruction. As long as you’re leaving 5 HDC into the Ch2 corner space and then slip stitching on the same stitch on the opposite side of the triangle symmetrical to where you left your last slip stitch then your scallop pattern should remain consistent and cohesive.
I think the only issue i had with this pattern is the band is too short. The ends of it dont reach my back so i had to extend it to 20 stitches on each side. (Its possible it may be due to the yarn i chose as well)
If you watch the tutorial you'll notice she starts from the center of each spiderweb and works outward! So I think it's the same (chain 4). Hope that helps
WARNIN: if you are warning with a size five or four yarn and you want and A or B cup stop a the 2nd row i had to make to because i did 3 rows for a b cup and it turned out a c or cc
I have tried this 3x and each time the xl never goes into a triangle. Is there a written pattern for an xl? For some reason at the end, 2x, I have 3 leftover chain spaces, not 1, like on the 36:13 timestamp..
Where has your awesomeness been??? Its been since September!! Do you post somewhere else?? Or blog or Pinterest or ravelry, etsy and what's your tiktok
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but at the end of row one, I have these like, left over stitches from the initial 6, that are popping out and idk how to fix it. *edit* I'm even more confused now that I'm at the sc around the triangles ☹️ I don't understand how I messed up when I was following this. Tails to the left, go around then pinch corners together of the two triangles, connect, and somehow I have it so that one side of the previous triangle doesn't have sc on it? And it looks like its twisted? I don't understand how when I had both facing up? I even went back and flipped one, but still for the same result??? I'm genuinely so confused and lost.
I’m so sorry you’re having challenges with this tutorial. I’m not sure how to help you hun. I’ve been tagged in a few photos from others who have made this top and was told my instructions were clear and easy to follow. I don’t know where you’re getting caught up but I really wish I could explain and help you through it.
@@BJax ok i figured out how to connect them, idk why it was so difficult for me the other day. But I'm still having this weird little flap happen at the beginning? Idk, I'll message you on Instagram so I can send a picture. I also originally started this with a weight 4 yarn, finished it, then went and bought weight 3 today. And my beginning ring is open? I can't close it for some reason 🤦♀️ Idk the last 2 weeks I've been struggling with even a basic baby hat lmao. No clue why. But yeah, I'll send you some pictures on Instagram *edit* Also I just realized I said initial 6 instead of 4 🤦♀️ when you're making the ring
I don't understand why the one side is only 10 single crochet and the other is 11. It adds an extra stitch when I try to do the DC , skip one. What am I doing wrong ?
I added 10 chains to one side, and then you need 10 chains on the other side + 1 chain (for the turning chain) you do not work into the 11th chain of that makes sense
this pattern is so cool!! i should make one before halloween comes 🤩 also, where is the music from? i could not find anything with shazam! (so i guess its one that doesnt have the copyright thing?)
