It helps to watch this on a tablet, lock the screen orientation and then turn it upside down.

nice.. though difficult because it was upside down, and it was also hard 2 c because u used a dark yarn with not enough lighting in yer part. Also, it is a slipknot which is the starting of a chain

Horizontal mattress stitch to join the ends together would be my preference. You caution about maintaining the # of sts but don't give the # - 16, right?

customcrochetby(noelle) YES! You might have to make it shorter since those are taller stitches but it would work exactly the same!

I have been trying to find a good pattern to do a blanket and this one is very pretty but can you do this pattern for a blanket or will it be crooked..........if so do you know a way to make it not crooked

Jordan Ellson This is a great question. I think that if you use a super chunky yarn and follow the same concept it would work in theory! There is only one way to know!

okay. Thank you so much I will totally try this and tell you how it comes out. I cant wait for it to be finished because I love this pattern. It is easy and I am an intermediate and this pattern would be great for even a beginner. you don't really see this pattern much often. I love to CROCHET....I started crocheting 2 years ago at the age of 9 and have been looking for something cute and easy ever since then and have finally found something.... THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!!

You should have made use of a brighter coloured yarn that way we can see the stitches properly.

I really liked the project but I have to agree it is very hard to follow upside down and the lighting was too dark . I am not a beginner so I could figure it out but there are a lot of beginners wanting to do the headband and you explain some parts really well and other parts you didn't explain well or at at all . It is a very pretty headband and I will be making some as gifts .

The easiest way to close the headband is to get a sewing needle and close it!! I'm over my 60's and being crocheting since I am 8 years old....

I’m a beginner and I usually can keep up but this is crazy. You don’t really explain chain 15/ add 1 as fast as your showing this someone would have to be a pro and they wouldn’t be watching because they would just get the pattern. Not to be mean but most people watch these videos to learn you don’t have to drag it out but at least explain things better use colors that show the work and give us time to follow. I’m just going to find someone else to show me how there’s plenty of videos to choose from remember that next time you’re doing videos people follow when you make it is to follow 😊

You need to work with a lighter color on camera, also your camera should be behind you facing your work, so we can see what your doing. It looks like it's backwards.

I would suggest you re-do this youtube and go slowly if you really want to teach everyone how to crochet this headband. It is way too fast and way too confusing.
