Not gonna lie, that could have been explained alot better but I figured it out after closely watching. I mean CLOSELY watching. For anyone who needs further explaination after the magic circle here it is step by step: 1. Make Magic circle, ch2, 10hdc in circle, slip stitch to first stitch. 2. Ch1 at the base of the slip stitch, sc same stitch. 3. In next stitch, hdc, dc, ch2, dc, hdc. (All of these will be in the same stitch) 4. sc next stitch, repeat step 3. 5. Repeat step 4 until you have all five points. 6. Weave the yarn through to the top of a point, and make a slip stich. Cut yarn to the length you want for your charm. I HOPE THIS HELPS!!!❤❤❤

In case someone has the same doubt as I did, the single crochet is in one stich and the rest (hdc, DC, ch2, DC, hdc) in the next stich. Each point takes two stiches

Though this tutorial was harder to follow, I have to admit that it turned out very good at the end! I love crochet patterns that works for every type of yarn and tension techniques!. I tried to do this with looser tension and tighter tension and it turned out great and also my yarn was a bit more in the cheaper side but it still looked great!!! I say this because I previously followed another tutorial and the pattern looked much more better in the expensive type of yarn that they were using in the video compared to my droopy fuzzy yarn! Anyways thank you for this very cute star ☺️☺️

I have NO idea other than that the people complaining this is too hard to follow must either A, not know how to follow basic written patterns/stitch abbreviations or B, are so absolutely new at crocheting that they need somebody to walk them through each stitch. If you fit either of these two, then yes this video will be challenging to follow. But if you know how to read patterns and know basic stitches, then this pattern will be absolutely the easiest thing youve ever made. Learn how to read patterns and know stitch abbreviations guys, it'll make crocheting MUCH easier and allow you to learn so much more!
This took me five seconds to do! Absolutely not hard and definitely good for beginners who know their stitch abbreviations and basic knowledge on how to follow a pattern. 5 stars! 😉

Also an easier alternative to a magic ring/circle: chain 3, slip stich into the chain FARTHEST from your hook so it creates a ring. Now with the tail of you yarn, you're gonna lay it against your ring and make your stitches over it and into the center. Then when you're done, pull the tail- boom! Easy magic circle. If my instructions are confusing feel free to look up "magic ring alternatives". I've been crocheting for almost 20 years and I still struggle with the magic rings- so don't feel bad if you can't do them!

did everything you did but after putting the 10 hdc my magic ring just doesn't close when i pull like it just doesnt pull. tried twice but the same thing. so frustrated
No easy but cute. I think hard because what hole where stitch to crocheting. My eye blurrr and your star little, so i watch clip again and again in slow function. Now i make star cute cute. THANKS
