I've always loved this stitch. Just pulled out my 6 skeins of Red Heart ❤️ Super Saver Ombre yarn name is Hot Sauce 🔥 482 yards. I just started a new blanket doing this stitch...I love the way the colors just melt into the next. This will be a Christmas present for someone who loves "hot sauce". Happy crocheting and creating to all!

That is one of the things I love about your tutorials is you replicate crocheting for dummies for those of us who can't quite grasp what to do and where and how to put different stitches. I have to say and I’ve said it before all the years I’ve crocheted and Crystal has given me the confidence to not only continue to create many projects but teach others to crochet. I’ve made and sold beautiful ponchos and beanies, blankets and cardigans. I wouldn’t have had the confidence without Crystal and BagODay . I appreciate you Crystal. This all began because I needed to distract my severe chronic pain.

Oh my God oh my God if I could kiss you I would I feel so smart you explain your stitch so well and so slowly that i was able to do it I can't believe I did it . I feel like a kid that just got left in a candy store I'm full of joy and happiness . I have tried the stitch before with other people trying to explain but they go so fast and I will always messing up but you explain it so slowly and I was able to stop it and do it and study it thank you so much

Really makes beautiful stars into gorgeous “flowers” 🌸 🌺 🌼 This has been one of my Favorite stitches; have used it making blankets & shawls & hats & caps & fingerless mitts & warmers (ears/head, neck, wrists, legs, ankles, boot toppers) for girls and ladies of all ages, from newborns to 96 yrs young! I’ve crocheted many of these “stars” in 🇺🇸 patriotic colors for boys & men, especially veterans 🇺🇸

My daughter asked for a purple blanket with a tight stitch, so I’m making it in this stitch with Caron Big Cakes in the colour way Grape Jelly. I only have about 15 rows done but it’s really coming along exactly how I was hoping. I’m fairly new to crochet and the detailed explanation and great camera angles of the tutorials make jumping into these projects much less scary! Thank you so much Crystal! ❤

So beautiful a stitch.👌 Shows up so well in a solid color. Would use star stitch for a garment, say a skirt with a sports weight yarn to keep it light and "flowy".

Terrific explanation and tutorial. I have never been able to figure this one out from written instructions so this really helps. The crochet guild chapter I belong to is making rectangles for Warm Up America so I’m going to try doing one with this stitch as it meets their requirements for blanket rectangles, looks pretty and will help with stash busting yarns - plus goes to a good cause!
