I so love hearing the dogs trit-trotting around. Makes me smile and wonder what they are doing and where they are sneaking off to 😆😄❤❤❤

As I watched your tutorial, I learned about tension! Where to hold the yarn as you ‘bring up the yarn’ is difficult for me! Also learned about how the heat will hold Morino verses cotton! I didn’t know that! For sure I will try both! Thanks for your imagination and your teaching! ❤

yep, it seems she always adds everything she knows about, not only the stitch and the project but the materials (+ the "wear") too! Everything she knows, she shares!☺

Hi Crystal, I was not aware that Super wash Merino could withstand heat better than cotton, wow, that is something awesome to know. Thanks so much for all you (teach) and not always taking for granted that everyone knows. I also love any type of puff stitches. Thanks again and always remember that I love you bunches.

These stitches are Just right for a hot Pad! The thickness will definitely support hot temperatures from going thru the surface. Thanks Crystal. Love the Superwash Merino yarn. 🧶 ❤❤❤

You remind me of the late Elizabeth Zimmerman, the knitting designer, author and teacher from the 20th Century. She instilled so many knitters with the confidence to try new thjngs, even if they seemed difficult. You have the same, no nonsense, you can do it attitude. Love you!

Someone made my mother a trivet using a stitch like this back in the 1970s. It was in a hexigon shape and sat on top of our microwave oven for about 20 years. Thanks for the memories.

WOW! I didn't know about the merino, double puffs, nor how pretty a hot pad could look!!!! Thank you for this tut, and the challenge to hold my yarn differently. I started at the beginning with you using a 4 weight acrylic and a 6mm hook. I decided after the center part to watch this video through to the end and then rewatch and do it with the video. I now understand the placement of the puffs. However, I will not remember where to put them until I've done a few squares. Thank you again for all your hard work! You are an amazing teacher!
