Im thinking the same thing lol making this with a 6 weight super bulky yarn and am almost to round 30 and it’s still not quite big enough for a lapghan. Lots of fun to crochet though ❤️

Beautiful pattern but I hate the BP any crochet. I do love the way they look when done. Just wondering when the rest of the pattern (row 33 and up) will be on video? I am so much of a visual person and I get somewhat confused with the written pattern after having had 2 strokes. My body recovered but my brain went on vacation on a beach by the ocean and never came back. So visual aid is required. lol I just love this easy pattern as it gives me a break from the more complicated patterns I usually do. Thank you and have a great day.

Oh Mikey I know I really liked you but now I just love you….you pronounced twenty right. It’s not only an American thing, many from the UK also miss the t out. Wow am I stupid or what!!! I have read and read how to make the opcorn row, but never m not getting it. R u supposed to skip the stitches over to 4 dc. By picture it doesn’t look like every petal has a popcorn in it, that u don’t add popcorn to every beginning s of the sc that is worked with A godchild I think I have more stitches that I’m supposed to have too🥲boy do i need some help please! The Samurai stitch you were going to the increase and did two triple crochets since you wrapped it twice around the hook but nothing was said about a change in stitch. This left me somewhat confused.

I have a quick question on round 33. In the video it didn’t look like you turned to the WS to do the round or turn to the RS for round 34 but the written instructions state to turn. Is this a typo from pattern testing ?

Hey Mikey 🌈, I tried to get the free pattern on the website but I have used two cards and it keeps declining. It even called my bank and there’s nothing wrong it’s supposed to be zero but I think it’s trying to charge 4999 I don’t know, but anyway, I am doing your pattern and I decided to do the first part sparkling red and the petals like sparkling green so it looks like a rose. I wish I could send you a picture.

Round 20 and 21 I am watching 1923 on Paramount +. 20 was so simple, decided to look ahead to see what 21 was about. I figured it was going to be a bugger after all the easy ones in a row. I love The Study of Rage! I’m following both the tutorial & the written directions which go to Round 62. I’m on Round 33, & the directions (written & tutorial) do not match! If I follow the tutorial, the directions only go to round 36. The written directions go to Round 62. Which way do I go, please?

HEY MIKEY! What do I do if I have way more than 52 open chain spaces in row 18? I changed to a smaller hook to do the single crochets on top of the samurai stitches which I guess made it come out to more but it laid flat after that. So do I frog row 18 and decrease the spaces until I reach 52? I hate that I’ve reached impasse. I was doing so well.

I have 286 single crochets in that row. If I divide by five then I get 56 or 57 I mean. So instead of making the chain spaces by three single crochets should I do it by five?
