I kinda agree w the below. It would be really great if you re-went over the video and put what the actual stitches are :) it would be really helpful since it’s a tutorial and I love how cute it is!!
thank you for explaining that you need to turn your work in order to prevent the seam from twirling. i did not know that!!! and it always confused me what the difference was between working in the round vs turning your work
I made this a few months ago as well! Though i didn't have a tutuorial for it, nor pattern at the time, it is facinating to see how different people interpret the idea! I personally didn't turn my work, for example, since i find that the back of the stitches show more texture, and i wanted to keep it smooth. No one else in the world would notice haha, but it was easy to zone out and keep on, keeping on. I had originally also started with single crochet, since i was fearful of it stretching, as i wanted it to be an everyday skirt, then loosened to double crochet, and even thought about doing a netted every other crochet, with 1 chain in the middle to end it! So many ways to do this! My inspiration was a midi length skirt i saw, but it ended up temporarily as this length, as i can always pick it up after summer and make it longer for the fall and winter!
Thank you so much for this tutorial, you have such good taste and you explain the tutorial so well. Finding this video made me so happy and inspired me so much.
This is brilliant, I'm making it for my 13 year old daughter who has a perfect figure. I'm doing hers in pink. I'm also going to make it for a young lady at work who has a svelte, thin physique like you do. I remember once upon a time in a land far away called the 90's and 00s I had a figure like yours too. I'm old and chunky now! But I love making clothing for young ladies who can wear this and rock the look! Like you do. Thanks for this tutorial!
Thank you. You explain well and your video clearly shows what you are doing . I only learned to crochet a few weeks ago and really wanted something I could wear. (My family have more than enough blankets and scarves now haha). I'm going to try this now. Wish me luck ❤ new sub here
Thank you for the tutorial. So it's one stitch where you add the stitch mark then another round it's the double crochet in that space then again one? Repeating it through out?
Perhaps, you make an extra stitch before joining the rows, this can cause a wave to go. Therefore, take a closer look at the video where I make the last stitch in each row✨
Cute pattern but I’m not sure you should be making tutorials if your not sure what the names of the stitches are you are using… cuz I don’t even know half of what you were saying I had to literally watch your hands to know what you meant so for the top it’s a single crochet foundation chain
